  1. This is called a route discontinuity or disco This is very common. If the route is correct, you will have to line select the next waypoint and put it place of the boxes. Thats all. Quick look with google comes up with this. http://code.google.c...teDiscontinuity or http://www.fsvisions.nl/downloads/MikeRayV12I7.pdfRegards Joost de Wit

  3. Just a kind advice. Sign with your full name and it won't disappear anymore.Sorry no advice on the SID matter.
  4. Hi chris, I have applied todays hotfix. Problem still occurs. But your solution is working perfect. Thank you very much,
  5. Crossposted in Hardware Discussions → Monitors, Video Cards and Drivers. After 24hr no answers. Hi all, When I switch from full screen to windowed mode my graphics are messed up.(image) Switching back to full screen solves the problem. No CTD, freezes or OOM messages. Does anybody know what causes this?

  7. Hi John, I prefer to solve the problem myself or with help from NGX users before opening a ticket. I think the workload on the tech staff is high enough already.
  8. Same here! Fooling around with the stars in flight causes a freeze.
  9. Tips are always welcome!. Did use all mentioned above and got a better performance.Thank you for that. As for vatsim, Used to fly on vatsim a few years ago but switched because ATC coverage is very poor overhere. But it is a very professional group! Is Squawk box stable with the FSX-NGX combo ?
  10. As we speak, still flying circuits at EBBR but with REX weather enabled. No problems at all. This aircraft is so much fun, After a few years leveld I guess it was time for something new and challengingIf I land there aren't any problems. Not on EHAM, or EHGG. Lack of resources is possible. With all sliders to the max i get a 20fps on EHAM. Next thing to do is lower some settings. (like AI aircraft)Did not know there is a minor difference in textures between HD and the 1024. Thanks for the tip.Once its stable I'm gonna try to install my EFB and the IVAO software. But reading all the threads here..... My guess is that there is a problem with simconnect. Unfortunately development seems to be discontnued the last 2 years. Anyway. Thank you very much, been a great help
  11. Hi Luke, "Sorry its not much to go on as for helping. " is a very big understatement!! Did 6 circuits at EBBR (default FSX scenery) and guess what. No problems at all. What strikes me is that with the NL2000 EHGG scenery (freeware) and with the aersosoft EHAM (registred version) panelfreezes occur. 2 different airports, 2 different scenery developers.Next step is to load the REX weather engine. A very pleased dude!!
  12. Hi Luke, Good idea. Gonna try it at a default airport.
  13. Hi, Playing along with the NGX Im practicing touch and go's by hand (only autothrottle). Not really touch because the FMC loses all the input when the wheels touch the ground.Takeoff is working fine. Spool until 40% N1, then the toga switch and there she goes.But... (of course there is a but) Coming in over the threshold, when the NGX is aprox 50ft above the runway. I engage TOGA and then... "the infamous Panelfreeze".Tried it by clicking on the hidden spot, by assigning another key command, with joystick, without joystick, deleted FSUIPC, disabled REX weather. Nothing more I can think of right now. There is no other addon software then REX-FSUIPC-737NGX and 2 or 3 local sceneries installed. It's a fresh windows 7 and FSX install. The workaround for this is manual throttle so it's really not a very big issue for me. But maybe it helps in search for the cullprit. The windows log files only reports a application hang in FSX.exe.For PMDG. I can reproduce this over and over again. If i can help by debugging, no problem. The windows log files only reports a application hang in FSX.exe.
  14. I really don't know.It was not only unplugging the headset but also changing standard audio back to speakers in windows and in FSX. Maybe a problem with my USB hub.
  15. Problem solved. Unplugged the USB headset. Standard speakers in soundconfig and voila praticing circuits at EHGG again.
  16. Hi Julian, The XML file looks perfect. Thanks anyway, Joost de Wit Hi Geoff, Did not reinstall the 737 yet. If I have to do that I will take your advice and back the directory up. Thank you for your advice. Joost
  17. Hello, First post. 2 weeks ago I purchased the NGX, At first I installed it and the first flight resulted in a CTD.But, in the last 2 years I added a whole lot of add-ons, tweaked FSX by replacing the uiautomationcore, replaced "lost files", FSX.CFG etc etc. So I uninstalled FSX (which did no worked out fine.)Did a fresh windows 7 64 bits install. Installed FS and both servicepacks, 2 sceneries, REX 2.0 and the PMDG 737 NGX.Worked like a charme until now. I was practicing circuits at EHGG and suddenly a CTD. I restarted FSX, loaded the 737, then a problem. No initialisation of the NGX. Waited 1 minute, rebooted, did a restore, Nothing helps. I replaced the original backup of FSX.CFG. Nothing. With all the default FSX planes no problems. Below a screenshot of the panel. Hope that somebody can clear things out for me. Regards, Joost de Wit
  18. Thanks for all the answers. The "strange light effect's" occur in both freeware and payware sceneryThe strange thing is that I never noticed it before. I did a fresh windows 7 install as well.Is it possible that it is a hardware setting in my graphic card ? (radeon HD5770) Regards, Joost de Wit
  19. Hello, I recently reinstalled FSX. (for a fresh start with the 737ngx) Now the night textures (runway in this example) looks like this.Does anybody know what's wrong. I tried different setting but no luck. Regards Joost de wit
