I agree completely and would recommend the PMDG Jetstream 41. PMDG's documentation is top-notch and this plane is a good challenge and extremely fun to fly. It's not really a heavy but it will teach you a lot of skills that are transferable to the larger jet aircraft.
I'm also experiencing this problem. My speeds are all right on the book and shift + / hasn't worked so far if getting them to retract. Minor annoyance to a superb aircraft, absolutely love this plane!
I'm looking forward to the Dash 8 but I would love to see either the Saab 340 or Embraer Brasilia. I've flown in the Banderiante and don't care much for it. Keep the turboprops coming! Hoping someday for a good Lockheed L188 Electra or Vickers Viscount...
