  1. Here here. The MD-11 is by far the coolest heavy out there. I wish PMDG would forget about corporate money side of things and spend some time to get the MD cleaned up. Remember the passion for this hobby PMDG....... The love for the MD-11 is strong... The guys that have that love are busy flying it and not playing around in forums. FYI. Yorik C
  2. Yea, Thats prob what is happening, It made me thing i had the gear out for 3 hours of flight. 100% throttle and .77 mach at best... not ok.
  3. V1.3 with panel dim Mod. At cruise. Gross about 15,100 Lbs FL390 Heading 090, OAT -41C, wind 323@70 , IAS 233 knts , mach .77 , TAS 425 , GS 460 N1 92% , Fan 92.6% , Temp 670C ,throttle position 100% FF 800 PPH each. The max speed i am getting... is above at 100% power... This seems wrong for the 35A I should be able to over speed this plane by far. According to the documents i have this GW is fine for this cruise altitude. Any comments?
  4. Nice work. Thank you.
  5. Have fun! Seems like we got the ball rolling on this and did a good job. See you in the air.....
  6. I would buy it right now BUT i have way too many planes to learn at the moment and i dont need a extra one. Im sure soon enough ill get my card out and but the MU.... Its hard to stay away from it.
  7. Excellent find! Thats great info. Ill see If i can find some info on the issue. Im guessing the flooding could be causing some of this issue. Either way, thank you for being involved as much as you are and making a effort to make this right.
  8. Ok, Just did a test. Same everything for both flights except the aircraft. Used the Lear 35 1.1 with 5 position dimmers. Got the memory beeper. Realair Duke V2 Turbine Same flight and then spawned into airports all over my ORBX areas. NO memory beeper. Then, i rebooted again. Got in the Majestic Dash 8.... Did the same thing as the lear and got no memory warn beeper. Also started spawning all over the world at ORBX areas. No issues. Jumped in Lear at KPDX moved to 2 airports in the same ORBX area. Instant Memory alarm within 30 seconds. OK... Then i installed the new panel dimming mod. I was not able to get the memory beeper to come on with this installed and tested with the same conditions. BUT, The memory usage was still right below the warning the entire time, so this plane is still using LOTS of memory when compared to some of the other vendors aircraft. The panel dimming to just On/Off does make this plane flyable on my system from what i can see tonight. I thank Flysimware for this but still think there is another issue due to the large amount of memory being used. Now that i can fly this bird i will do some proper flights with it and see how it goes from here.
  9. Mine seems to be spot on. No issues.
  10. Thank you for looking into this issue, i understand that all it take is one dot in the wrong place to screw up everything. I am very excited about this plane and am looking forward to many years of flying it. I'm happy to see a company willing to be involved with support. There are too many developers in this hobby that could care less, you guys are bringing back my excitement to be part of the flight sim society. I only had time to test 1 flight tonight and i chose the A2a 182 with the GTN from F1 , did the exact same flight as the lear and had Zero issues with memory. I ran out of time and will revisit the lear with light dimmer fix tmrw. My opinion is still with a leak of some kind. Excuse the poor writing, it was done on a dumb phone.
  11. Mr. Beaver, was it with a new installed patch? Like the light on/off one? Or do you think the plane just loaded wrong on that flight?
  12. Well, my testing has been done in P3D 2.5 in ORBX PNW. Yes this is a memory using areas but i have been flying planes like the F1 kingair and realair turbine duke v2, a2a 182 and the list go's on. I can get in the lear, load at a random airport in oregon. Set up my flight and make it about 250 nm in any direction before i get the memory warning noise beeping. Have Never heard this on my current sim set up prior. Tonight i will try the lights on/off patch and see if it helps. It really seems like a memory leak is present with this aircraft. At least on my install.
  13. Yea, I am just wanting the memory issue fixed. I have NO want to return this product or give up on it. I am new to Flysimware and so far really appreciate the care they have for the systems and returning emails about issues with products. I am not here to beat down the product. I am here to help us get this thing sorted because i am ready to fly my medevac flights in this beautiful bird. The idea of the lights on and off i will try tonight with the patch download, I don't think this is a permanent fix as OOM's don't happen on my PC unless using this plane, Something else needs to be changed or a possible leak might be occurring. As far as the Lear issues , Its defiantly a issue of memory leak with something. Here is the response i received last night from them. ""Dear Customer, "The VAS was 800 MB above all average aircraft and would run at 1.8GB instead of 1GB. With V1.0 it's not 1.2GB VAS and this is thew best we can do without removing the dimmers. This is only 200mb more then my MU or any standard payware aircraft. Also it's less than a PMDG VAS usage now. So i am shocked the 1.2MB VAS is giving you trouble as wqe never had any complaints with our MU at 1MB VAS. I also have not heard any VAS issues from many customers even before the V1.0 update. So far only you have mentioned this so keep me updated as i think we are ok with this VAS usage right now." Regards, Customer service Flysimware Simulation Software""".
  14. Can you guys use the product page and send a message to Flysimware about this issue. I have a help ticket going and it seems they havent heard about any OOm issues at all besides mine. They need some feedback before they will make a fix . Just use the contact link on there website. Since this is "unofficial" support our info isnt helping.
  15. Well, After the version 1.0 i still have pretty quick OOM issues with this plane. Never had one in my history of P3D or on this PC for almost 2 years. Hope they can get this fixed as i enjoy flying at night.
  16. Version 1.0 Not BETA just released! Prob solved?.. Nice work FlyJ
  17. Alright, Thanks for the replies. They for sure need to make some changes with the light usage or memory usage. Otherwise. LOVE it. Just flying around with the memory warning beeping.
  18. Just purchased the Lear and absolutely loving it. Great job! The only issue i have found so far doing some testing. Day flight in ORBX area with things turned up. No issues at all. The second i go to night and turn on ANY dimmers in the cockpit within mintues i start to run out of memory and eventually will crash. Its for sure a issue with the plane and not my PC as i have Never had a OOM. Otherwise i am really loving this plane! amazing job. I plan on flying this thing for many years to come. My specs. Windows 8.1 64bit P3D 2.5 i7-4770 3.8 32 GB Ram GTX 760 3 GB Yorik C
  19. Works beautifully for me.
  20. Love it, Easy as heck to fly. SOLID autopilot in IMC. I really enjoy this one. Using it on charters in Alaska and can't be happier. Thanks Alabeo.
  21. Just did a 8 hour shift of flying the Carenado PC12. While it has a few bugs, everyone is talking about already. I think its a great little plane. Had a wonderful day of flying it all over Alaska. Thanks Carenado. I approve.
