  1. Marc, As I mentioned in the other thread, I was having the same problem as yourself. After hours of struggling, from advice gained from another thread here, I rebuilt my DLL.XML file using the tool from the Flight1 website, and hey presto, all works! Hope this helps you.
  2. I would imagine they have an awful lot on their plate at present. The tickets are being processes as I have just had mine answered. Regarding your issue with Direct X install failing due to the Cryptograph service error, I have the same issue which is what my ticket was regarding. Of course I don't know exactly your circumstances, but the advice given to me was to contact Microsoft as it is a core Windows issue, and not with the product. Failing that conduct a fresh install of Windows or a repair.
  3. What if it's already set to automatic, what else might it likely be? would this also be a reason why the aircraft does not prompt for an activation code upon selection?
  4. I get the same issue as you Marc. It is another service you must start manually. Same way as starting Cryptographic services
  5. The file is hidden by default. You will need to 'Show hidden files and folders' via 'folder options'
  6. I have the same issue on Win7 64, still not found a way past it. I have submitted a ticket and will post back anything they can suggest. In the meantime take a look here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-windows_programs/a-cabinet-file-necessary-for-installation-cannot/8a7e8c84-2776-e011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5 There are a few things you can do that might help. I've tried them all, but nothing helps, hopefully things will be better for you.
  7. Ahh yes I see, makes sense. In that case then I think I may have had a gerneral error, as pressing most buttons had no effect on anything. They moved, but said action was not carried out. All screens were frozen and the autopilot did disconnect in the end so I had to restart. Thanks for the effort in helping, it is much appreciated
  8. Just to add, the aircraft seems to be flying nicely still on the FMC (although i cant change that now) the displays have also frozen. They show me at FL245 for example, where fsx actually says I'm at FL260 (by pressing shift+z).
  9. Been flying the MD11 for a while now, not had any problems until now.Set everything up, flying in the cruise and started to mess with some of the autopilot. Problem number 1After this, whatever i ended up clicking (may not necessarily have been on the FCP) it has frozen the button clicks, and i get the message 'BUTTON PUSH IGNORED' appear in the scratchpad on the CDU. I can't clear this, or indeed do anything else as all button poushes are well, ignored. The buttons move, but nothing happens. Anyone had htis? or know how to undo whatever it was I have done? Thanks in advance.
  10. Ah nice one, I'll grab them off you next time I see you =]
