  1. Personally, I'm glad PMDG is committed to quality and not like some big name software developer who flushes out a buggy OS or application and then sends us a near endless stream of updates and workarounds that may or may not fix it. Keep up the great work, PMDG. I've not doubt the product will be worth the wait. For now, my PMDG MD-11F has more freight to fly this weekend. Even after all this time, I still love this plane!
  2. This looks amazing!! Could it be that my longhaul aircraft of choice for nearly 3 years, the PMDG MD11, is about to get some much deserved R&R? Based on the comments, pics, and videos of the 777 that I've seen thus far it's looking like a high probability.
  3. Has anyone seen a repaint for the MD11F for Evergreen International? I have looked everywhere I know to look but to no availIf anyone knows of one, please point me in the right direction.Thanks.
  4. True. Then I hardly doubt that the manufacturers of the J4100 or the Dash 8 have been continually nipping at Boeing's global market share for the past several years either, as Airbus has.
  5. Very well said.Just to add that PMDG has set the standard, at least in my mind, and has actually saved me a few dollars in that before I pull out my wallet and throw it out for any more payware garbage, I ask myself if I can expect the same level of performance as if it were a PMDG product. Needless to say the answer is usually 99.9% no I cannot, and I put my wallet back in my pocket where it belongs. That is until the NGX and 777 are released :(
  6. Like others have said, it depends on weight, distance, and cost index. I've noticed on FlightAware that altitude varies and it seems the shorter the flight (less fuel), the higher they are flying. Here are a couple UPS42 VHHH-PANC @ FL310 and FDX147 KMEM-PANC @ FL400 Both flights were with MD-11's.
  7. Now is a good time to remember that all good things come to those who wait. While we wait, we can continue to enjoy the PMDG 747, PMDG MD-11, PMDG J41...Hmm do we see a pattern developing here? I think it will be worth the wait. Everything else these guys have developed has been. Now...let's fly :(
  8. Sorry friend. I have the PMDG 744 for FSX, but not the 748.Someone should be willing to help you out though.
