November 14, 201015 yr I thought PMDG had promised, about 3 years ago, that they would be developing quality Airbus products...As myself, thousands out there are eagerly waiting for a top Airbus product. Many have tried since PSS, but have failed over and over again. So, my question is what is the reason that PMDG change their mind?...Does not have the resources...does not have the talent...have contacted Airbus for info and Airbus said: "Shuuu..this is serious stuff not a game"...Or, PMDG is afraid to fail like many others since the Airbus is so advance and complex?Hey, just some reasonable questions...Everyone wonders why? Or, is the team committed to an all only "American Product" Hummm :( Well, I am sure another 5 Boeing products (like a DC 7) :( will be developed in the next 25 years before an Airbus is developed....Why ????????????????????????????? Now, Randarazzo... please don't be offended....We all just ask why? Feel free to answer logically and honestly. please !Thanks,John Gonzalez
November 14, 201015 yr Well, I'm not an insider, but I think that certain parts of the development team with the Airbus expertise / interest left the team to form another company. This company has released a supersonic transporter and is now in the process of building a high fidelity Airbus for FSX.

Well....Starting to come together...It's a pitty cuase this product is one of my best and would have not hesitated to pay $500.00 to PMDG for a top quality series of Airbus 320, 330 , 340, and 350.truest me !John

November 14, 201015 yr Johnny your whole first post fails. They have the resources obviously... they do have what you call "talent"???. And PMDG do not fail. Only you. I mean they way you write that whole post clearly was written in a smart &@($* and pointless way. You ask for a logical and honest answer when really you deserve a virtual back hand.Chow
November 14, 201015 yr They can better build a TU154M for FSX, since that's not only plastic. I'm prepared to pay a lot of money for that one. Now, to be serious, I think PMDG is able to develop a high quality Airbus. But they are busy with the NGX, then T777 and in between the Dash8 by another team. That will probably take some time, so let's wait for them to announce what they will build next, when they are ready to announce that.Although I would like a good A330.Dion Mollert
November 14, 201015 yr Well Johnny767, I would imagine that PMDG's code meisters are so intimidated by your very assertive demands that they will deliver the product you insist on before sundown. Watch this space.Tony Best regards from Tony, at the helm of the flying desk.
November 14, 201015 yr Maybe what happened was that at or around the same time that an Airbus was mentioned here, it did look as if two groups, Airliner XP and Airsimmer, were going to produce a top quality product. PMDG staff even met Airsimmer staff at an AVSIM conference once. Maybe they decided that there was no point in producing another and it would be better to do an updated B737NG? Regrettably Airliner XP and Airsimmer failed. This is all just conjecture on my part, I don't know anybody in any of these groups and am, most probably, completely wrong. I tend to think though that it's more likely to be something like this rather than any PMDG conspiracy plot to bring all simmers under their control somewhere in the dark wastes of Mordor. :( Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
November 14, 201015 yr I thought PMDG had promised, about 3 years ago, that they would be developing quality Airbus products They didn't say when it would be developed. Well, I am sure another 5 Boeing products (like a DC 7) :( will be developed in the next 25 years before an Airbus is developed....Why ??There are already two professional A320s in the development: Air Simmer and Flight Sim Labs. I don't think that there is a need for another A320 product. It'll be also easier for those 2 companies to make A330/A340 in future. There is some other company working on A380, I just can't remember the name. So, there are currently 3 Airbus projects in development, satisfied? It's funny how you praise and defend Airbus, and there is 767 in your username. Regards, Paul Kawalec Chicago O'Hare Int. Airport . Last flight: 6-11-11 - B737-700 - Southwest Airlines #2139 - KMDW -> KTPA
November 14, 201015 yr Airsimmer is dead.Let's hope for ***.. Regards. Matthias Hanel MilViz Beta Team

Some of my best friends were BORN in Mordor, and they don't take kindly to hearing their glorious homeland characterized as a " dark waste-land" by the non-Mordorish.Tony Best regards from Tony, at the helm of the flying desk.
