    FMC Legs Page

Ahh I never thought about that. I usually have the fmc on the FO side up for the legs page. I'd then try and view the plan on the captains display. Makes sense now, thank you.

    FMC Legs Page

I have found that it only works on the left side FMC for me.
  3. Are you not seeing the trim switches move on the yokes? I also have mine on buttons and don't have this issue. I know the trim gauge moves slowly in contrast to holding the trim buttons. How do you have the buttons setup? Are you using the saitek profile manager or fsx?
  4. Regardless of the resettable siren, I was still hitting the AP disconnect on the yoke with the required 2 presses, and eventually another 30 when the siren didn't shut off. Last night I tried to test the theory of running the default panel state to see if it worked. I was able to clear the siren on the first flight. For the second I switched from the end of flight state I was in to cold and dark. TCAS off triggered a warning that never went off on the second two flights. Both of the second two flights using cold and dark (the second even restarting FSX before) I was able to get the siren to shut off. I cannot think of anything that was done differently.
  5. For those of you wanting to go far enough to unintelligible FS or even windows, that is not necessary. Maybe a clear default FSX install might help, but windows most likely won't. There are many people with this issue, as it's not even the only thread posted about this where people have stated clearly that they have resettable siren on and are clicking the correct buttons. If the alarm going off is the only problem, just go into the FMC and find the PMDG sound options to disable the alarm (top right option I believe). It is definitely not a solution but it is a temporary relief. As for this possibly be human error, I can understand why this is said but I do not believe this to be the case. Why is this happening to so few people, I am not sure. I do know that I have read through how to disengage the autopilot and have read it reiterated in this thread and others several times. With the resettable siren on, and clicking not only the disarm button on the 777 yoke as well as right clicking the screw on the Mcp this is still an issue where the siren sound continues. When the disarm is pressed once, the AP disengages and the siren sounds along with a master caution and message on the EICAS. When pressed again, the master caution and message disappear yet the siren still continues. I feel like the key both disarm presses are registering but the sound chooses to continue.
  6. Rick, I have only been flying the standard FedEx paint. I have yet to fly any Pax variants. In my instances, the caution light usually is Lit by something which I can see, Butt as I clear the caution, the message goes away and the light is still lit. I have also gotten a caution and not seen a message, where pressing the button still does not remove the light. I have also tried hitting recall, but to be honest I am not entirely sure that is what I should be doing in the first place.
  7. Since I have a similar issue I wanted to add to this. These have been cold and dark flights. I also saved a different setup that was based on cold and dark with just a few changes. When I disengage the AP I still have a siren going off. I have resetable siren on. I use the button on the yoke. As instructed, I press once to disengage and then once more to shut the siren off... On the second press the master caution clears, there is nothing on the center mfd, yet the siren is still going. I have also tried right clicking the screw at the bottom left of the mcp, as well as left and middle clicking just to check. I have tried pressing ctrl shift Z, and just Z to turn it off. I don't believe I have had this in the default panel state, though I will confirm later today. I also would like to add that with this issue, I have also not been able to clear the yellow caution light. Pressing it does not clear, and I have not seen any other indications to what the warning is in the cockpit, like a message on the center mfd.
  8. With the automation of the aircraft or think you could. You mainly need to operate the aircraft on taxi, takeoff, and after touchdown. Go for it, but I still suggest a joystick.
  9. I can get the high speeds for the first few seconds, then the download slows down and eventually stalls. I've been trying for 2 hours now unfortunately.
  10. I've purchased it and received the download link in my email rather quickly. The download link was included in one of the order confirmations.
