September 13, 201312 yr I can't seem to change pitch trim with my joystick buttons in the 777. Works fine in the 737NG. I have in FSX controls the buttons selected to Pitch Trim up and Pitch Trim down but trim doesn't change in the 777. Can anyone advise. I am using a Saitek cyborg 3d. The buttons seem to work with my other planes. Apart from that I am having fun with the 777 and no other problems. I find it much easier to fly than the 737NG but then what do I know. I am just a simulation pilot apart from littlle planes like cessnas. Peter Rowan
September 13, 201312 yr Are you not seeing the trim switches move on the yokes? I also have mine on buttons and don't have this issue. I know the trim gauge moves slowly in contrast to holding the trim buttons. How do you have the buttons setup? Are you using the saitek profile manager or fsx? Andrew Payne KPHX

Andrew, I am not the OP, but I see the same problem... I have set up joystick buttons via FSX and my trim does not work. I also don't see the switches on the yoke moving!? I tried it with LINDA as well to no avail. With all my tries, I was careful to just assign the buttons only once to avoid interference. I don't know what's going on. cheers, NiIs U.AMD 5800X3D | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MHz | RTX 4070 12GB @ 1920x1050px

Does the trim function if you use the FSX default keys on the right hand side of your keyboard? "1" and "7"

September 15, 201312 yr Author This is on the ground and is when you are supposed to set trim in the tutorial e.g after CG input. I can click the VC to make it happen but no joy from the joystick. I presume that it is pitch trim I should be assigning. Will try 1 and 7 and see if that works. Peter Rowan
September 17, 201312 yr In my case I think I was using LINDA wrongly. It is working now. Thanks! cheers, NiIs U.AMD 5800X3D | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MHz | RTX 4070 12GB @ 1920x1050px
