During calibration everything responds correctly.

I started up FSX today and noticed that for some reason my yoke is acting up. I have never had a problem before. I started a flight and then on autopilot the yoke turned right and was stuck right. I restarted FSX multiple times and as soon as it loaded the yoke was locked in a right turn in the simulator. I checked calibration and everything was fine so I am not sure what is going on. I was able to pull it to the left and then it went immediately back to the right. Obviously it is impossible when the yoke is turned all the way to the right yet my actually controller is in detent. Any thoughts? I use fsx default control axis with my yoke. I use FSUIPC but not for yoke or pedals.

Still having the issue

Reset flight worked. Yes, I installed SP1C. I didn't see the 20 second initialization.

I went to the top of fsx where you can exit and save etc I hit reset and it worked.

I had no problems with the base PMDG 200 series. I updated to Sp1 and now I can't turn any knobs. I can click buttons but not turn knobs. That makes it quite difficult to do anything in the aircraft. Any solutions. I use to just right click the direction and it would turn, no nothing. i did reset and now is working. thank you.

So I have read two different things online about the water settings. One says that Low2x shows the sun/moon and stars, aircraft and clouds. The other says it just shows the aircraft. Which one is correct? I like the cloud shadows on the water but don't want to lose performance on Mid2x. What is best?

I am not sure if this pertains to a post on here already but when I go validate my 747 it comes back with an error saying resource not found unhandled exception error. Anybody ever had that problem with their installation?

This is what I notice when I changed my fsx.cfg to 2048. Scenery looks all strange. Runways not showing up, jetways sunk into the asphalt.

How do i go about making multiple configurations? My rex clouds are at 4096 so i would have to change those and then in my fsx.cfg file. Im worried that it is going to make things look less realistic but i also am tired of te oom.

It is a chime when my textures start to turn to polygons and black. I have dx10 turned off. Textures are 4096. Will i notice a difference in the texture quality if i lower it?

I am wondering what the minimal processes are needed to run the computer and fsx. I have active sky running and fsdreamteam airports. I have unchecked all the scenery I don't use for the flight but when I am the airport just at the gate I get the beeping OOM sound. I can't fly into FSdreamteam KLAX or out of because of the OOM. I have my traffic and traffic turned down to 20%. Roads, ships and boats down to 2%. Any help would be greatly appreciated. FSX is using on average 2,200mb in the process window. I know FSX can only use 4gb RAM so I need to cut down to minimal if possible. Thanks. I forgot to mention I use Megascenery 2.0 scenery. I have about 7 states but only the ones I am flying from and over and then to are checked in scenery library.

As soon as I installed 5.4c the aircraft disappeared. When 5.4c installed it said something about checking the schedules. Is it best to just use 5.4b since I don't really use schedules just like the AI traffic? Or should I try and figure out why 5.4C made the aircraft disappear?

It still says Trafficbuidlerdatabase not copied yet. I started up FSX and have planes galore at 25%. Still don't know why I have the message though. I guess I will install 5.4c since I have aircraft with 5.4b.

I was looking around and noticed in the manager communicator data base builder was not installed it talked about an SDK and something to do with pfpx. I uninstalled 5.4b and 5.4c. I am currently reinstalling both

I will do that. I wonder how it checker a schedule. I just did the manage fsx like instructions said and added mtx to the scenery library. That was it.

I tried the program and my traffic is checked in my scenery library. I sat on the tarmac for over 30 minutes at KLAX and not a single aircraft was there. The skies were empty, which I know is never true at LAX. It is Fsdreamteam KLAX but that shouldn't have anything to do with it. Any other suggestions?

Where would I find that? I have seen like one jet at the gate but no taxi/departing/arriving aircraft.

I have MTX 5.4c and I had ai set to 20% like the manual states and barely saw any ai at the airports or in the air. I set it to 30% and still no difference. I was flying out of KDSM and there were no aircraft at the terminals or in the air for 50 miles. I have tried this at different times of the day. I also tried this at KTPA and same results. I would like to have traffic at the gates, taxiing, departing/arriving but no luck so far. Any suggestions?

So should I use the Short and then turn everything off and start from cold and dark that way? It doesn't seem right to start with the aircraft already with engines started.

I will read again the FCOM to see what I must have missed. I have come to the T/D in the FMC and still never got the DES NOW button. That was why I was wondering if there was a bug or something in the cold and dark panel that I load up. It should give it to me but never get it. I have tired selecting lower alt and pushing the button in to select it and it descends very shallow and never engages the vnav path. I will re read it again. Thanks for the help

I have tried the manual input of the flight level and hit the alt button but it still only descends at like 300 fpm instead of the normal 1800fpm.
