  4. I made sure all three were in the NAV position. That's what doesn't make sense I made sure all three were in the NAV position. That's what doesn't make sense
  5. I started the battery and did the IRS alignment. It did the normal countdown and then I put the IRS position in. I got the magenta which showed the alignment was done. After I started my APU the screen next to the PFD showed C-1, R-1 and L-1 and then it would keep increasing. What is this about? I am assuming I can still fly since the display shows the magenta and no longer have the map not knowing where I am.

  7. I am curious to hear back on some input. I have REX 4 texture direct and soft clouds. Does anybody constantly use the soft clouds or back and forth between the REX 4 clouds?
  8. I am only asking this in the forum because there is no unofficial forum and the main website is down. My question is am I able to use REX essentials Plus OD for water textures and use REX 4 texture direct for other textures at the same time? There are very few water textures in texture direct and there is no difference in inland water. My rivers look like coral from the ocean. Any suggestions?

  10. After extensive research I have found the issue is the "phantom key" with the Saitek hardware. There claims to be a fix which is uninstalling the software from saitek and that has fixed it, but I will try that tonight and see if it actually does work!
  11. If I wasn't married and had a kid I'd save up and get something else, but that won't happen.
  12. I only have this problem with my PMDG aircraft. I will be in flight and my landing gear will drop down. I have saitek equipment and checked all the buttons and controls to make sure there is no duplicates and there isn't. I was also having random AP disengagements The only button that will do landing gear is the default G key. I don't know what is going on, but it's frustrating. I get penalized from my VA for extending gear down above 250 KIAS.
  13. I have noticed that at random points in my flight if I have an aircraft that can raise or lower landing gear it will do so. It goes to the outside view and drops the landing gear down. I have flown about 90 miles and has happened to me 3 times. Its annoying but what is more annoying is I get penalized by my VA because the gear has gone down over 250 KIAS. Anybody have a fix this? The only way to get the panel to work at all is with SPAD. I am about to unplug the panel but I spent the money so I should be able to use it and not have these issues.
  14. I did have the green box and it did say decent checklist when I spoke it. The main panel also had decent checklist for the mode. I will have to work with it some more.
  15. The only reason I ask is because I usually never see the tow truck with default, so it looks funny being pushed back with nothing pushing back. Only thing that shows is with GSX. I am sure once UGCX comes out it will no longer be an issue.
  16. Am I able to use my GSX pushback vehicle and use the PMDG pushback option?
  17. I am wondering when I do my decent checklist about setting final approach fix, decision height and missed approach altitude. If I am going by FSX default ATC, how do I go about setting this up, considering my TOD is usually much farther back from when they tell me to decend? They don't usually give me a runway to land on until that point. Do you use default fsx or just planning the landing runway before when setting up the FMC on the ground? I have PFPX so it does give me a departing runway and landing runway but sometimes FSX ATC will have me taking off at a different runway. Hope this isn't one of those "stupid questions."
  18. Sounds great! I am trying to figure out the program still but so far, really great product. I spoke decent checklist before my TOD and didn't acknowledge till it was under 7000 ft. With time I will get better. Just used it for the first time last night
  19. I purchased the NGX reboot and PMDG 777 products and they are amazing. Is there ever any updates adding features. I was flying through some strong turbulence and there is no PA announcment for the NGX reboot but PMDG 777 has it. Just wondering. Thanks.
  20. I am using saitek rudder pedals. The strange thing is when I landed, I had no issues. All my other aircraft work just fine. Calibration looked good. I don't know what else it could be.
  21. I seem to have some issue with my brakes. If I tap the brake just a bit it slows aircraft down slowly and then to a stop. I can be full thrust and not move. As soon as hit the parking brake and then release it, then it moves again. This happens several times during my taxi. Any help would be great. As you can imagine it is quite frustrating.
  22. I am trying to figure out about making clouds. For instance I can choose what kind of cloud, base and max altitude of cloud and what type of precipitation. There is a box that says cloud thickness and can type in a number from 0 to I think like 9000 or 99000. I can't remember off the top of my head. If I put 0 does that mean the cloud is transparent and the higher the number the more dense the cloud is? Has anybody ever messed with this setting?
