I am wondering if it is possible to use my PC and laptop together in fsx. For instance I am using pro atc x and there is a moving map. I would like to keep flying in fsx but beven able to watch on the laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I didn't know where to put this, sorry.

I just updated my AIRAC from 1308 to 1608. When I go into my FMC I get an error about no data on rwy 10C. I go to dep/app and there is no SID or Runways available to select. What is going on? I had SIDS and Runways before the update.

I can't seem to get my hoist to pick up the fishermen in any missions. I have the Seahawk x package. It has auto hover as well but the hoist doesn't go down low enough. Can anybody help. Of course the default helos can pick up the fishermen.

I was trying to manually increase the speed. Axis is up. Right now I have FSUIPC and some profile issues. I have a 737 profile but when I start up fsx it automatically defaults to my C 182 profile. Note sure if that has anything to do with it.

I have 2 flights now in a row in different parts of the country not allow me to climb over 175kts. My throttle is fully open, TAT -13c. I have the green up for flaps on the speed indicator but my flaps are fully up. I am at level flight and still only 175 knots. Manual speed is set to 250. Something isn't right and for 2 flights in a row.my fuel is also light so it's not overloaded. http://postimg.org/image/4ah233eej/

I am trying to be able to insert victims for rescue missions. I went ahead and moved the files from the MISC folder into the BOAT folder in the SimObjects. I went online and copied the info into the AIcarrier.cfg file and I am unable to find them in the drop box when I hit shift J. It only gives me the ships to input. Can someone please help so I can use the objects to practice helicopter SAR? When I use the hover approach setting the helo is at about 100 feet but the hoist isn't long enough so I manually did the hover and the hoist was perfect yet they wouldn't grab on. I have watched videos of people grabbing them with the default EH01 that aren't even in a steady hover. Has anybody else had this issue?

I am curious if someone could help me create a theme like fsx has building storms. Is there a theme for this or can somebody help me set it up in manual weather?

I figured it out. Thank you. I got myself confused.

At work currently but I'm referring to the MCP heading I input doesn't read back correctly.

Heading had been set. The FO reads back but the number doesn't match the number inputed.

I misread the tutorial. I was saying mcp heading for instrument check but I was saying the heading as well for the MCP heading and it still reads wrong numbers. Nothing even close. The green bar shows me saying the correct numbers and mcp matches but the readback is wrong.

So if I entered the heading into the MCP, shouldn't that be the heading read back to me?

First I must say that all the FS2crew products are outstanding. I am only having one real problem and that is the heading during checklists. For example in my preflight checklist in my 737 reboot and 777 when I say the heading it is completely wrong. I said heading 240 and altimeter 29.91. It of course read back the altimeter correctly but said heading 160 or 350 as 145. They don't sound anything alike. Is there an issue with this and a fix? I am trying to record a video to share with my friends and it sound funny when I say heading 350 and the FO replies back 145. Thank you.

I have not. Nervous to try. I use orbx and sometimes megasceneryearth with active sky next. The higher the more chance of OOM errors.

Is there anything I can change in the cfg to help at all?

The mountains and hills itself and the ground rexrures. Auto-generated is at dense. Sceneey complexity max.

I am wondering what setting I need to change that will effect how close I have to be for objects to sharpen up. Right now I have to be right next to a mountain or right above the ground for objects to clear up.

Inside my fsx folder ORBX was set read only so I changed that and went my app data folder and changed that as well. First part didn't work, but after making the local folder no longer read only, it has not given me the error. Thank you.

I saw some posts on the forun. It is set as Run as Administrator. My FSX central icon is fadeductible like it was hidden but everything has administrative rights with full control.

I did everything except the part saying to do a complete uninstall and that seemed to do the trick. Thank you.
