I have a new laptop with windows 8 (asus g75v ) for gaming, and NVidia gtx 670m graphics. I installed fsx gold and when I am a minute into the game a message comes up "Microsoft flight simulator has stopped working" this program has found a problem. it gives me a prompt to close down the program to the desktop. Is there a fix or at least a workaround so I can play this game in the windows 8 enviorment? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Other than the fsx default....what is the best freeware Crj and ERJ Outthere. When I say this I mean who has the best model and textures to download with minimal tweeking. I have tried payware Wilco\feelthere but the product I think is not the best.I like the regional jets. I would rather have a freeware download but if someone insist on a payware that they can recommend that is very good (model & tetures) that I dont have to shell out alot of bucks for a substandard product I would appreciate it. so do you all think the Citation II model might be a little more dependable...?

I am pondering which to buy between the eaglesoft fsx cj1 or the citation II sp. I like both aircraft. I have the citationX but just wanted to try something a little different. Which of the two seems to be more a popular download and which is the very least problematic.......(By the way I am not saying either one has a problem) Which one also is newer product to eaglesoft. thanks for your help!!!

Hello out there! Is there a file that I can download to modify the air file in fsx? Also, What do I need to change in the air file to keep my plane from moving forward even when the brakes are engaged to make this plane from moving?

I was wondering what the best interface flight tracking with google maps program out there for fsx. I have heard of Plan G but is there anything better?

Just a newbie question there are 3 payware aircraft out there fopr fsx, the Crj series, the e jet series (both in the avsim store) or eaglesoft aircraft(citation x etc...) Which has the best functionality, playability and least hit to a the computer. Also which one has the most texures to add on.

I used to have a i5 2.6 ghz with a ati mobility radeon and it seemed to run smooth...I thought going with the ASUS I7 1.6 ghz would increase the playability and smoothness....am i wrong assuming this?

I am new to fsx. I bought a ASUS notebook G73jh series I7 intel core 1.6 , 6gb ram 64 operating system GRAPHIC CARD...ATI mobility radeon hd 5870 1gb .
