fsx Citation cj1 vs citation IIsp

Featured Replies

I am pondering which to buy between the eaglesoft fsx cj1 or the citation II sp. I like both aircraft. I have the citationX but just wanted to try something a little different. Which of the two seems to be more a popular download and which is the very least problematic.......(By the way I am not saying either one has a problem) Which one also is newer product to eaglesoft. thanks for your help!!!

I don't have the CII, but I do have the CJ1 and really love it. I did a fun little review of it here. Perhaps Ron will loosen his lips a little about when to expect V2.0.

I have the II but not the CJ1. As far as I know both are very nice. The CII received a major update a while back and it made the plane excellent. The next generation ES CJ1 has been in the work for quite a long time. Nobody knows when it'll come out. The current CJ1 lacks a fully functional FMS, you can't even input a route directly into it. But from what I read other systems simulation are nicely done.

I use the Citation II for most of my long distance (over 250nm flying)and now have 770 hours up according to my FSX logbook. If you want a reasonably fast aircraft that can operate from small fields but not look out of place at large airports and is flown like a GA aircraft (no FMC) then the Citation II is for you.In RW there are three CII's hangared at one of my closest airports, they are used for Commercial Pilot training but their home base is uncontrolled. If the PC12 is a Swiss Army Knife then the Citation II is the American Barbeque plate. I bought the ES CJ1 in the early days and didn't like its cockpit. Although the 3D cockpit of the ES Citation II isn't exactly the latest and greatest it does have good intrumentation and I regard it like a favourite pair of well worn slippers, comfy and warm. Just my thoughts

so do you all think the Citation II model might be a little more dependable...?

The CJ1+ v2.0 is being prepped for its acceptance trials. Among other features, it has a completely new GDI+ Colins ProLine21 system, a fully functional Universal UNS-1 FMS, which supports the FS9 or FSX database, or the optional Navigraph database, and a recoded gauge system for the rest. Both the FS9 and FSX versions' VC's have been extensively reworked, and the FSX VC is now fully 3d (knobs, switches, etc.).

The Cessna CJ1+ Extreme 2.0 is coming along very nicely. The only public shot is here: http://www.eaglesoft...Coming_Soon.htmCJ1+ Extreme 2.0 contains a new GDI+ Colins ProLine 21 Avionics system and a fully functional FMS (Universal UNS1) which supports FS Database and Navigraph Database with many of the same functions as included in our CX2.0 Extreme Package. We think original CJ1 users will love the new product and its new Model/Texture sets, 3D VC, and advanced GDI+ Colins ProLine21/UNS1 Avionics.More information will be available from the link provided above over the next thirty days or so. Please note that we did state release date or pricepoint.Loose lips off.Big%20Grin.gif

Haha, we only wish we could do that airplane... so many projects, so little time.Big%20Grin.gif
Starting false rumors are we??
Couldn't help myself. The offer with my Baron always stands. Maybe someday the rumor won't be false. "Haha, we only wish we could do that airplane... so many projects, so little time.Big%20Grin.gif "Who knows, maybe it can be Eaglesoft's flagship Flight release, whenever it comes out.
