  1. In the video below, they do a "high idle check", and I just have to ask, what is High Idle?I have read something about High idle and Low idle (not much information), but I have no ideas what the difference is and what it means.I know very much about the 737 and have spent years flying it in Flight Simulator, I have read much about it and learned alot, but this is one of the things I do not know!
  2. Thanks guys! Yeah, I'll better just find some way, and get the feel for it. Everything else goes fine, landing, taxi, flying, and so on, it's just that part about lining up with the runway, and also the last part to the gate, it's always a challange to line up perfect to the gate.
  3. Hello.I was just wondering what the best way is to line up with the runway before takeoff?Of course, I want to use as much of the runway as possible. So the question is, when should I start the turn to line up with the runway? And is there a way to remember it? Like when the centerline is past one of the windows, etc?
  4. Oh, That's right.. Thank you!
  5. I set up my aircraft, chose Panel state Save, and a name, than it says Successfully saved to *Name*But can't find it in the Panel State Load.. Nor in the Panel State folder.
  6. I have a problem, whenever I save a Panel State, it actually never saves.. I only have the 3 options Cld n drk, short and long..Am I doing something wrong?
  7. I spent a little over 10 000,- Norwegian Kroner, which is about $1900.Everything is expensive in Norway
  8. But i think there is a problem with the RAT to, when you are about to land (let's say a 767) with only RAT powering the airplane, you start flying slower, and the RAT will stop producing power due to the speed, and you lose all hydraulics, and that can be a problem when you are 200-100 ft above the runway, am i right?
  9. I'm sorry for "stealing" your topic, but don't want to start another one. Will my system work? As you see, I am going to replace the GPU, I have chosen an IceQ Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 The rest is in the signatue, i hope.
  10. As some of us know, none of the planes in FS is affected by adverse yaw.By the way; Correction on my last post, the Addon is called Discus Glider X, and that addon plane has adverse yaw. But what I mean is: When you enter a turn, the ailerons will produce drag on the wing that goes up (easily explained) that makes the nose turn the opposit way which you want for a little while (but still turning the right way), untill the ailerons are neutral. Offcourse the Yaw Damper might help as you say, which is kind of an autorudder then, right?Correct me if I'm all wrong, just want to know.
  11. About drag, I do fly gliders in real world, and we have to use the rudder all the time in turns (especially when we enter or leave a turn) because of adverse yaw, (I think it was).I know that this effects almost all the planes in real world. Is this simulated in the NGX? There is an addon called Glider X for FSX, they have simulated it well.
