I run both FSX boxed version and FSX_Steam on the same PC and Switzerland professional scenery works on both FSX versions as well as all of my sceneries work in FSX and FSX_Steam too, Also all aircrafts work on FSX and FSX_Steam except those which do not fit DX10. (by the way I use FSX DX10 with Steve's DX10fix tool on the FSX boxed version) So far I did not yet include Steve's DX10 tool on FSX_steam regards Alfred

The scenery is unbelievable beautiful! I observed the development of "SIRX2009" - the original name of this italian scenery, for some years now. So far it was impossible to download it. Now I have thrown away MSE Italy. Anyhow, the MSE US sceneries are pretty nice and therefore I shall continue to shop at MSE, because to fly over photoreal US landscapes is a real joy, especially for non US citizens....... Hi all, thanks a lot for your feedback. Yes, I see, it seems that I have to swallow the ugly parts of MSE Italy. I have already downloaded some of the SIRX italian freware scenery and mix it with the one from MSE which,is ok for the most part of Italy. By the way, Switzerland, where I live, has the FlyLogic Switzerland professional scenery which is fantastic. Also I have VFR Germany and VFR France. Soon Austria comes also with the western part of the country and then flying in alpine Europe is a real joy. Best regards alfred

To swallow the errors? no chance of a patch? How can MSE sell such a faulty product and doesn't care about improving it. ? I have contacted them by mail directly and I wonder how they react or may be don't do it at all...But that would be a great disappointment of this wellknown simproduct developper.

I don't know whether I am too late to post a commend nearly one year later. Anyhow, I have encountered the same very ugly depictions of a vast area in northern Italy.I am so much disappointed wiht MSE that they release a product which is full of errors. Best regards to all of you Alfred

Hi, I have installed FSX gold edition on a new PC including some addons. Now I realize that some of the changes of the button assignments on the keyboard and sliders regarding graphics, aircraft, scenery, weather and traffic are not saved even I saved the particular flight. Also the silencing of the FSX music does not work. When I start this saved flight afterwards the buttons and the sliders are not there where I set them before. . In addition to that I get CTDs very often with g2d.dll error messages. Is there anyone who could help me to get out of this mess? Hi, I would appreciate your advice how to install this plane on other computers. I have the following situation: 1) I would like to install it on a new PC in the place where I live 7 months in a year and where the plane is originally installed 2) installing it on a PC in the place where I live another 5 months in a year. ? Regarding my PC abroad do I have to buy another J4100 or can I uninstall it on my PC where I live 7 months so that it will work on my PC where I live 5 months? Thanks a lot and best regards Alfred

Hi, I have many payware aircrafts in my hangar which do not have this kind of switch. Most of the default FSX have it, Some payware too like Just Flight's Freemium B-757 and Quality Wing's BAe-146 as far as I found out. In my opinion this kind of switch gives the VFR simmer the opportunity to decently test an airplane without going through big manuals first and gives him also the chance to set own waypoints tor a flightplan which would be useful for flights, for example over photoreal sceneries like the Swiss and French Alps, the Himalaya, or over the Rockies and so on. Actually I wonder why most of the developper do not offer this kind of switch. I can imagine that this would be beneficial for their business. Anyone an idea, how I could insert this switch for my first plane I want to change, the EMB 135 of feelthere? How to insert the GPS I know but not the combination GPS/NAV in connection with the AUTOPILOT All hints and tips are appreciated very much With best regards Alfred from the Swiss alps....

Hi everyone, So far I could fly the J41 without any problem on the PC I write this message. I did not change anything in my PC but now, a popup dialogbox says that I need an activation code and I don't know where I can get it from. Hi all, I am wondering why FSX did not take care about the big rivers in Asia, for example the Menam which goes thru Bangkok and the mighty Mekong, which can only be seen in Vietnam, but not in Thailand. . When I look into FSX's birds eye view, all these big rivers are not showing as they should, except a fraction of the Menam in Bangkok. As I am only a user of FSX not a creator of sceneries, I wonder whether there is a possibility to get these rivers, or create them, but this might be very difficult, I can imagine. oh, thanks a lot, Randy, for this interesting hint. Actually, I am used to produce fresh fsx.cfgs ....it really helps a lot, if the FSX goes crazy. I shall do it according your hint and will inform you about the outcome. I used to do the cfg.restoration with Flusifix.fsx, because, if the renewal does not show any change, I can restore the former cfg (which of course I have modified for better performance).
