@leprechaunlive thanks for your input, ok, I see it, I obviously got it wrong, as a kind of reproach, critisizing MSFS too much, but I really was wondering why it was possible to create a nearly perfect swiss scenery (for FSX) some many years ago with technology of that time. Of course I don't know what kind of imagery mailsoft/flylogic used to depict the mountain peaks and landtextures of the swiss alps as they are in reality. I thought MSFS might be even better. Anyhow, let us a wait for a coming patch. Best regards Alfred

@Drew Sikora Yes I know what MS has done for us flightsimmers and I appreciate this very much, I know too that this is not a pure Swiss sim, but I am in the opinion that we enthusiastic flightsimmers are allowed to give feedback about this fantastic product just to improve it. Maybe my input was put in the wrong place, I should have sent it to MS directly.

I really wonder why it was possible that the swiss scenery developper mailsoft/flylogic was able to create a Swiss scenery (CH PRO) about 12 years ago which is much much better than the actual one from MS also regarding mesh (as you can see from the pix) . As an example, the famous panorama of the mountains Eiger-Mönch-Jungfrau made by flylogic is 1:1 to reality, while the MS one is a very poor depiction. I fully agree with you: we have to be patient. MS might definitely patch up this part of the world. because the Alpine region is a vast and important place for enthusiastic VFR simmerpilots. Hi, In some parts of Switzerland the ground textures of valleys and mountains are extremely ugly, greenish, totally washed out. What happened? How to repair? Is there an update planned? I run both FSX boxed version and FSX_Steam on the same PC and Switzerland professional scenery works on both FSX versions as well as all of my sceneries work in FSX and FSX_Steam too, Also all aircrafts work on FSX and FSX_Steam except those which do not fit DX10. (by the way I use FSX DX10 with Steve's DX10fix tool on the FSX boxed version) So far I did not yet include Steve's DX10 tool on FSX_steam regards Alfred

Hi Bernd, Thanks for your feedback. Yes, you are right, Switzerland prof. is very expensive, VFR France too but very nice with freeware autogen. MSE sceneries are in my opinion too cheap. MSE Italy is only 30 USD for 116000 sq mls ! Actually very cheap too. Anyhow, I would pay 3 times more to get Italy photoreal in good quality. In my opinion it doesn't make sense to sell a product full of errors, it annoys consumers. Bad quality = bad for the reputation of the company. Better not to offer such a product or sell it more expensive with no errors. (btw: If you are interested in Europe sceneries: Photoreal Austria east is on sale and Austria west might arrive end 2015) Beautiful! Alfred

I guess you mean Switzerland from MSE, which I don't know. Switzerland professionel from FlyLogic is an excellent photoreal scenery without any errors. Wonder why US sceneries from MSE seem to be without errors according to my experiences.

The scenery is unbelievable beautiful! I observed the development of "SIRX2009" - the original name of this italian scenery, for some years now. So far it was impossible to download it. Now I have thrown away MSE Italy. Anyhow, the MSE US sceneries are pretty nice and therefore I shall continue to shop at MSE, because to fly over photoreal US landscapes is a real joy, especially for non US citizens....... Hi, all, very interesting to read all your posts. I have installed Washington, Seattle and Oregon from MSE and I found no errors so far, but I bought and installed recently the full version of MSE Italy which is a real disappointment. How is it possible that a wellknown developper like MSE sells a product with full of grafic errors. If no errors the MSE scenery of Italy would be ok. That is a real pity. I have contacted MSE directly by mail and provided a full range of pix. I wonder whether I get an answer. . I have cancelled this MSE scenery and installed the freeware SIRX 45GB full italian scenery instead, which is absolutely gorgeous. Anyhow I shall continue to shop at MSE because their US sceneries are nice and for me as a non US citizen it is a joy to fly over photoreal America landscape wonders. Hi all, thanks a lot for your feedback. Yes, I see, it seems that I have to swallow the ugly parts of MSE Italy. I have already downloaded some of the SIRX italian freware scenery and mix it with the one from MSE which,is ok for the most part of Italy. By the way, Switzerland, where I live, has the FlyLogic Switzerland professional scenery which is fantastic. Also I have VFR Germany and VFR France. Soon Austria comes also with the western part of the country and then flying in alpine Europe is a real joy. Best regards alfred

To swallow the errors? no chance of a patch? How can MSE sell such a faulty product and doesn't care about improving it. ? I have contacted them by mail directly and I wonder how they react or may be don't do it at all...But that would be a great disappointment of this wellknown simproduct developper.

I don't know whether I am too late to post a commend nearly one year later. Anyhow, I have encountered the same very ugly depictions of a vast area in northern Italy.I am so much disappointed wiht MSE that they release a product which is full of errors. Best regards to all of you Alfred

Hi, I have installed FSX gold edition on a new PC including some addons. Now I realize that some of the changes of the button assignments on the keyboard and sliders regarding graphics, aircraft, scenery, weather and traffic are not saved even I saved the particular flight. Also the silencing of the FSX music does not work. When I start this saved flight afterwards the buttons and the sliders are not there where I set them before. . In addition to that I get CTDs very often with g2d.dll error messages. Is there anyone who could help me to get out of this mess?
