First i hope This is the right forum for posting this, since this is FSX forum.I downloaded a new addon EZDOK Camera this should add shakes an so when taxiing landing acelerating etc.There is a instruction manual but i dont really get much of it, also I wonder if this can be used without deliting the actual fsx defaul key setup.MB

I would need some help with setting up the FDC properly, the call out speeds do not match especially in missions.In missions you already have a copilot that is only calling out the speed and help you remember things “did you catch that captain?” So I taxi everything is fine FDC extends flaps for takeoff, go through all start procedures, when it’s time to takeoff it will call airspeed active, but then its calling V1, Rotate and V2 about 2-3 sec before the “Main Copilot for the mission”. This also happens during Free Flight with flight planner, since I know my speeds for that aircraft.Also during landings sometimes FDC will give me wrong flaps settings, and after landing it will also behave funny sometime, like retracting flaps while still on active etc.Is there any help for how to match FDC with FSX so it gives me the correct readings and settings? TYMB

My config is now set to: No job scheduler whats so ever, bandwith is set to 0 and it works grate, I also found out how to be able to zoom more in 3d cockpit, by setting the wide view = true

Finaly they are here, the supra 1.4 removed a lot of visual defects, and I had to install catalyst 10.10 to get best performance for my rig, I downloaded all previous Catalyst in case I need to try another

MY Amd processor is working as said before when busiest, around 60% on core 2,3,4 and about 10% on core one, with the multi core tweak in config and with acceleration pack. so I still have about 40% left in core 2,3,4 and almost full power left in core 1, that’s so bad coded FSX is, my AMD processor if more than able to run this game at full with proper multi core optimization there the load is spread evenly to all coresSo I guess the only hope is one FSX fan will be able to make a proper code for the config file to use all available cores, it wont work, I have all sliders so it shows ultrahigh graphics on everything and 1920x1080 and it works fine between 22-32FPS with 4 add-ons and fraps even with my BAD AMD :) which give me minimum of 90Fps in just cause 2 everything on and on Ultra high, there all cores all working evenly and of course, 2- 5870 1GB in crossfire" that is Some good coding.Unfortunately my flight controls Logtech G940 got some problems on the thruster so i got a replacement under way, I’ll pick it up today, I even bought a new Supra 1.4 Hdmi cable for the computer and i will se if that made any difference to fsx. ill test it tonight.

not 10 is 100euro, that keeps my processor at 28Celcius at Idle and 37 Under load, max safe temps are 63Celcius.Probably those others having problem with this processor should check their temps.High temps makes the hardware mailfuncion.

Also many with this processor dosen have a highend Rig and cooler, only my CPU cooler is 10 euro thats more than half of the processor cost today.. the rest of the rig you will find on first page

sorry man i NEVER said that the phenom will deliver more than intel, I build computers since the 486 so I know that for a fact. What i did say was that many say that the processor that i have, phenom II 955 quad core 3,2gzh isnt enough to run fsx att full. And i said yes it is I have it and it works.INTEL IS THE BEST I KNOW.SO PLEASE next one reading , read more carefully

Now Im back and tested all possible tweeks with my config, Nothing worked whats so ever, besides that now i shifted the load to core 2-3-4, but no improvment whats so ever that where noticeble.Actualy i found out what the problem was, my X-graphics addon had got coruppted or something, I reinstalld it and I gained around 8 fps, Now I have almost constant of 30Fps-up and no chop or lagg, only thing I left in the CFG was the jobscheduler.So that phenom II 955 3,2Ghz processor isnt powerfull enough to run fsx att full IS BULL, my main core is almost idle while playing and core 2-3-4 have approx 65-70% load and that is not much, so there is still 100% from 1st core and about 30% of core 2-3-4left.There are people with i7 processors that cant maximize the game, I CAN :)My Ideea of fun is, BAD OPTIMIZATION FSX SHAME ON YOU.All this is with only one card....If i enable crossfire it will get choppy, and unstable frames, so apperantly FSX is so bad coded so if you add a second card in CRF the game is unplayeble but with crossfire disabled i get stady 30Fps and fluent game play all options on and everything on ultra High... FIX A CROSSFIRE PATCH FSX, SHAME SHAME.So with the crossfire patch, and a real multy core optimization, if MS will release a such will probably make around anything between 30-60fps increase.I play all other games even those processor based such as GTA IV and i gain 30-60Fps in crossfire and as frames goes upp the games gets more playeble, the mouse more responsive.I seen a huge diffrence ex in just cause 2 one carded everything on full and all settings to on, res: 1920x1080 i had 60 Fps and the mouse came a bit after my move, enabled crossfire an got minimum 90fps, the mouse lag had stopped and the game became more playeble.Bottom line is:AMD Phenom II 955 3,2Ghz is more den enough for fsx on max settings and can give alot more with a propper fsx optimizationFSX can gain alot from crossfire even do its processor based, which is not using on full anyways.Everything works AGAIN and im happy now... I also use addons that should slow my performance Active sky X, X graphics, My traffic 2010, FDC live cockpit and fraps...

Use the anisotropic filtering if you have something else checked

Use "Active Sky x", its alot better, you can komplement your graphics as well with "X graphics", i use them every day, it makes everything so real.

Also when im outside yhe plane i get a minimum of 17-31 Frames, when i go in to 3d cokpit it will go down to 24-25 should it be like that? there is more graphics when your outside and see all buildings an terrain, so Why do I loose so many frames by going to 3d Cockpit?

Try using 3D kockpit and zoom out by holding down space and 2nd mouse button then just scroll with the wheel.

HI i tested with the buffer tools, with the setting 0 it got a little choppyer with the other settings is exaktly no difference than before...I begining to wonder if it is the right config. the iffynitymask worked since i saw the change in Cpu core workload, so it shoul be the right config.I have it on C:\users........\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX.Mabe I should do a clean install, do I do not think it will help.I tried to attach my config file hereon the forum but it says Im not permitted to upplod this kind of fileIts only a.txtMB

OK i found out that i had to add not find this to the config Also this [JOBSCHEDULER]AffinityMask=14:smile: But what about this ?, [bUFFERPOOLS] UsePools=0[BUFFERPOOLS] UsePools=1 Poolsize=70000000 RejectThreshold=131072should i add it somewhere in cfg or is ti allready there for me to NOT find, because i´m not finding it.TyMB

Thanks everyone, but the only thing i find i my config file is TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=70 and i could play with that I sett it to 0 since i have frames set to unlimited, tested 70 as well but 0 seems to be a little bit better. All this is still with crossfire disabled, otherwise its getting choppy anyways.And this I can not find it in my config. SSRY... i have only the acceleration pack.... I just remembered i wanted to install the SP2 but it tald me I don needed, so i forgot. So i wrote i have both, but the correct answer is only Acceleration packTYMB

And also As i mentioned this is with crossfire activated, without crossfire with those high settings there are close to none lags. So apperantly it really hates more than 1 graphic card.SO my processor should be fine, I think this game is optimized only for x2 cores, since as I said my other 2 cores are down to less than 40% while the first to are full 90-100% load.What i was looking for was a real Quad core tweek, letting the game know it hase two more cores at its disposal, and probably a crossfire patch.MB

But yeah you wright Intel ar ebetter than AMD... i gues i should go for an 6 core, until hopefully MS releases the next MF with full support for Crossfire and SLI wihich will take alot of load from your cpu.MB

TY... but as i understand and read about there are guys with i7 processores and they can nut run maxim on the game... Of coures its not an I7 but the first 5-10 seconds all cores are full but after, the third core and 4th are going down to about 40% load, which means 60% +60% o those cores gets unused.Hope they optimize the next around the graphiccards power instead of CPU.. as i wrote in just cause 2which is extremley much high rezolution and extreme hires lansdscape Iget a min of 90Fps but again that one is based on graphic cards.TY

Ty...But really what that file does I could have done my self in fsx settings, it removes some of the check boxes, reduce the resolution.. so It was not what I was hoping for.I ll have to live with the litle twitches from time to time and keep my settingsMB
