You didn't read my full post, i said" if you use reverse thrust coupled with it" i too can use rto all the time, if i don't use reverse thrust with it, but when it is used like this, next time you will try to use rto, it will disengage.

From my experience, you can use rto only once per flight, if you used reverse thrust coupled with it, after that rto will disengage after trying to use it, tried with and without joystick, override set to never, calibrated through fsx, max sens, 1 null zone.
  3. In the 737 for example the reversers can be opened at RA<10 ft. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41C4qMDzT_0
  4. Sadly, it didnt work, have you tried to do this as i described ? one rto with reverse, and after that another rto, at that moment autobrake disarms.
  5. After disabling any FSUIPC settings and unpluging controlers i confirm, that using reverse during one rto will prevent any rto engagement after that, autobrake will simply disarm.
  6. Also, i would like to add an observation concerning gpws test sounds, they do not correspond to the ones user chooses in the fmc, for example if you have chosen "decision height" call-out you will hear "minimums" when testing gpws, is that normal?
  7. Thanks for the clarification, completely forgot about the baro indication logic
  8. Well, seeing, that it is present on the video, i'd wager that someone thought of it as important to the simulated experience, so it was implemented. ^^
  9. Hello, i have recently stumbled upon an interesting video: Driven by curiosity i tried to emulate these "manuvers" and compare the indications. In ngx, the speedtape will not dissapear, when crossing 450 knots indicated, also, the vertical speed indicator will not stop at 9999 ft. The Baro will not change color. Which behaviors are right then?
  10. Hello, i was reading the manual, and it is stated there that box prompts are a required data to be inputed and dash prompts are optional. I went to the RTE page, where origin airport is in dash prompts and destination is in box prompts, tried to set only destination airport, but one can't do it, you must set the origin first. It is quite logical, that the fmc needs both points for its route managment, but why then use different prompts ?
  11. It is mentioned the r/t can be set at 10< RA as i stated at the begining of the topic, but it isn't the primary thing discussed there, i tested the thing and the r/t activates only after gear being firmly on the ground, can it be a limitation of FSX, even if FS9 allows it ? B)
  12. Why did they want to do that ? ^_^ : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41C4qMDzT_0
  13. Hello, i have a question, would it be possible to enable the NGX to open reverse thrust at 10< RA, like the PT in fs9 here :
  14. Happens to me too, i traced it to that when you finish climb, engines go into cruise mode, and then you try to select a STAR for the departure airport, it can hang there, mind you it happens only for some airports, for example EPWA, EDDF...., and some STARS, but i could repeat it every time for these. latest AIRAC, tried to reinstall, fly default liveries, nothing, but i have a work around for this, in the ROUTE page set the airport you want to land on as an arrival airport and on SID/STAR page select a star from the arrival airport option, this problem happened when i was circling around the departure airport, setting EPWA/EPWA in the ROUTE page, and then selecting a star from the departure airport option, on some airacs it works, on some it don't, i use the latest now.
  15. Hello, i have a question, in the hgs manual provided here : http://jlaroche.com/cqfa/280-BVN/Documents_BVN/B737_9701-1071%20Rev%20C.pdf it says, that to set the HGS in PRI mode one needs to set it on the HGS control panel, or push the TO/GA button which will set it for you regardless of the mode displayed on the control panel, the thing is, i can't set it with the TO/GA button, i did some go-arounds in AIII mode, and the pushed the TO/GA button, but it didn't change. Is there something i need to do to obtain this behaviour ?
