I installed Windows 8.1 RTM and all I can say is I am going back to Windows 8. As soon as I click FLY NOW, FSX will CTD with no explanation and this is on a fresh install of Windows 8.1 and FSX with latest drivers. Anyone else experiencing this?

After installing the hotfix I am hardly able to do any flights since FSX crashes at random points during the cockpit setup whether this be turning the battery on, setting up the FMC, turning fuel pumps on, moving a window around, etc. Out of the last 8 times I have loaded the NGX, I have only been able to fly once. Before the Hotfix I had NO problems with FSX crashing except when exiting FSX (which judging by the one flight I was able to do has been fixed). Any help greatly appreciated.

Just finished the first tutorial flight so mine was an autolanding. Everything is so smooth, and I didn't have to pause during the tutorial either - that's how well written it was. Congratulations PMDG on a very fine product. Now I'm off to Tutorial 2!

Will do a Qantas delivery flight to Brisbane via Honolulu and Tonga (there is no decent Nadi scenery otherwise I would have gone via Fiji)
