  1. Thanks for all who has helped, I have once again and verified that it is working. Much appreciated
  2. Thanks Niall, for your response. It will not allow me to delete any airlines as it states files cannot be found. See print screen. I can reinstall WOAI airlines but when doing so it seems as though the airlines store different then what I remember. I can upload a print screen of what I mean if that helps. Also does it take sometimes after the airlines are installed before they are recognized? If not then what might be my next step? Thanks again
  3. I had to format my HD recently. When I went into WOAI installer and tried to install airlines it said that it already existed. So I went into expert mode and they appeared there. But they were not where they usually are. So once again I forgot how to install Airlines, I noticed that the path was not there, so I clicked on the path part located where my FS9 was installed proceeded to install airlines. They appeared in the Aircraft location as I remember from the last time. I started up FS9 went to a airport and there where no airlines I installed. The installer said that they were installed correctly. Does it take some time before they appear? I appreciate any and all responses
  4. Thanks Mel, that is the one. Soon as I saw the name I remembered it. I hope you and your family a safe and Happy Holiday's too.
  5. Sometime back, I once had downloaded freeware software that captured multiple screenshots. I have looked around on FS websites still cannot find. I would greatly appreciate it is someone could please tell me the name of it. Many thanks.
  6. Thanks groovin_ DC-10, I have always wondered how they do it because it seems frame smooth. It looks as though they using two monitors. Once along time ago I made a FS Recorder for my own use just to play with it, so I have somewhat a understanding but when they do it it seems the transition is very clean so as to look like you are the one looking out of the passenger view. Amazing. I enjoy looking at them. Again thanks.
  7. I have a question that is regarding flight video's. I don't know if any of you ever do flight video's but it has facinated me for awhile. When I watch them how do they video passenger view, and still manage to land center of runway. Every time I try the same look the liner goes off the runway. Is it possible that they use two monitors one for looking out the cockpit view, the other videoing out the passenger window? Or are they just good at it as it takes practice (lots of). They make it seem as though you are a passenger upon landing. Just curious. Thanks very much appreciated
  8. Thank Joe so much, I was close to the name. I was going on memory from about a year ago.
  9. It has been awhile since needing help on a past scenery. I had to have my HD replaced and thought I backed up this file. I did a search but could not find it on AVSIM I am sure I once downloaded it here as a free download, it was recommended by a flight simmer. I don't know if it is obsolete? As it was a great file. If someone out there can please help me out I would greatly appreciate it. What it did would replace grass that looks real, and fix the water to give it realism for FS9. Thanks. The file was either HGE or HEG not to sure.
  10. Hi to you flight simmers. My question is when flying at my flight level and I am looking on the outside I notice that my airliner is at a pitch that is around 5deg nose up attitude. Is that a real appearance or is there a reason for that? I am curious as it looks like it is mushing through the skies. Also while climbing too I notice it , and wonder if that is why I am loosing airspeed. I change my airspeed at the right times, and sometimes I change my VS in hopes of getting to my FL before I run out of airspeed. I even download sound packs for that A/C in hopes of having the power. I fly several freeware liners. For examplePOSKY, SGA etc... it doesn't matter which one. I am not puttng them down these are great liners, I have flown them for sometime I just forget to write to the forum and get a response. I am just trying too get a feel if this is normal in the real world. I will keep flying them no matter what. I appreciate your thoughts. Happy simming.
  11. I too have to give ten thumbs up for Sunskyjet KPHL_FS9_10 file for their great job on KPHL. I can't believe it is a free download. Chuck is right on this. Go to www. sunskyjet.com. Again great job Sunskyjet.
  12. Thanks to everyone who replyed to my post. I will try these out. Happy Holidays to all the flt simmers.
  13. I have been flying liners for quite some time. My question is regarding pushback. I understand that on the keyboard you click on Shift+2 to make the tail go right, Shift+1 to make the tail go left. Sometimes it works and somes times it doesn't, I have to on occastion had to throttle up then stop, then start all over again with pushback several times before it works. Has anyone out there dealt with this situation before, and what did you do or is there anything that can be done to resolve this. If not then I guess I will have to deal with this. Why is that? it gets frustrating at times. I just wanted to run this by to the Flt Simmers that are out there, possibly get an explanation on why this accrues. I appreciate all who responds back to this posting. Thanks.
  14. Hello to all you Flt Simmers, When using GPS 500 (default) I just figured out how to program the ILS runway to land on after several years of Flt Sim. For example I want to choose SLC ILS 34R in which default is runway 35, I programmed in, 34R and it VTF to BESBE (just outside of SLC airport) I tried the load or activate to vectors but after all the loaded info it directs me still to land on runway 35. My question is does this really work? or is it because it is a flight sim and not the real world. It is a lot of info to program in just for nothing. I would like to get some possible feedback on this topic, I would greatly appreciate it from all the Flt Simmers out there.
  15. Thank you to everyone that gave me ideas, especially Ubersu. I downloaded it today and it is fantastic, down to moving cars on the freeway and the 3D buildings that surround the airport. I have to give thanks to the developers that create these great add-ons such as this one. I recommend it to anyone one that wants a great SNA add-on. Thanks again happy simming
  16. Thanks for your inputs. I will give them a try.
  17. I downloaded a file recently called hdev2 from AVSIM. The file changes the cloud effects and ground effects, the clouds are fantastic in appearance. It is great download, but one problem I have encountered is one airport SNA (Orange County CA) textures seem to be missing the ground is all white as you can see in the screen shot, but everything else is ok. Have any of you simmers ever had this happen? And what did you do to correct it. I find it to be strange. Downloading this file mentioned should not affect the ground airport textures especially to only one airport. I have looked at several airports and theirs are fine. What could cause this to happen as this is recent (since downloading hdev2). I even reinstalled the SNA file thinking that a file somehow got corrupted, that did nothing. I hope someone out there could please help me fix this issue. I have attempted to email the person who designed this add-on; either I get a failure receipt or no response. This is why I am running this by you simmers. Thanks Sim Pilot.
  18. My mistake when searching for a file, I forgot to put the zip at the end when searching for a file. I found the file in case someone needs to see it the file is hdev2.zip. Thanks, simpilot

  20. Hello to all Flt simmers. From time to time I like reading the forum questions and answers they are helpful as you seem to have alot knowledge and or experience. My question is when flying at night the city lights are pretty dim in FS9. Is there a way of making it brighter? As it has low lighting effects. I think it would look more realistic when you are approaching from a distance to see the city all lit up in a brighter appearance. I look forward from hearing from all of you flight simmers. Best regards. Happy simming
  21. I have read many questions on this forum regarding this issue but to no avail I haven't. I have a question regarding flying into LAX from anywhere. Everything is going great until ATC gives me landing direction, it gives me the option of other runways but everytime I click on the number (ATC) to direct me to another runway all it gives me is back. It will not allow me to choose another runway. Has anyone out there ever had the same problem? To get around it I land on my own, but would rather have ATC give me landing direction. So far it seems to be LAX as I fly into other Airports with no problems so far. I look forward to hearing from Flight simmers you are the best. I also like to read other questions on the forum in hopes to learn more. Thanks, best regards.Simfun
  22. Thanks for the input. I will check these out closely. I guess I never really noticed an uphill feel. I use to fly as a passenger lot of times thru the years, but it has been while. It seems as though you are flying level. I appreciate the mach speeds that was also given to me as I try my best to emulate the real thing when I can. Flight simmers are the best. There is a lot of knowledge out there for virtual flying. I always appreciate the responses. Best regards.
  23. When flying @ cruising altitude, for example 350 ft (35,000) viewing outside why is the A/C still having a pitch up attitude when it should be level flight? My AP is set to 315 IAS (TAS 465 indicated on GPS) a little bit more then that it goes into overspeed. Is there a way of fixing that in the A/C CFG file? If not I will have to live with it, I would rather try fixing it as it would look more realistic. I appreciate your responses. Best regards flt simmers.
  24. I was reading your forum today, your question does Glacier Girl use ILS approaches. I know the pilot personally if you give me a week or so I can find out your question and let you know. I volunteer at the museum that this plane comes to from time to time for maintenance. What a incredible aircraft inside and out. Look at the attachments to see the masterpiece.
  25. Great bunch of info. I appreciate it very much. I will keep on trying each and everyone of the suggestions. Again thanks you simmers are the best.:(
