August 8, 201312 yr I had to format my HD recently. When I went into WOAI installer and tried to install airlines it said that it already existed. So I went into expert mode and they appeared there. But they were not where they usually are. So once again I forgot how to install Airlines, I noticed that the path was not there, so I clicked on the path part located where my FS9 was installed proceeded to install airlines. They appeared in the Aircraft location as I remember from the last time. I started up FS9 went to a airport and there where no airlines I installed. The installer said that they were installed correctly. Does it take some time before they appear? I appreciate any and all responses
August 9, 201312 yr Hi I would go into expert mode and delete all the airlines, then do a bulk install, it only takes a few minutes. Niall
August 9, 201312 yr Author Thanks Niall, for your response. It will not allow me to delete any airlines as it states files cannot be found. See print screen. I can reinstall WOAI airlines but when doing so it seems as though the airlines store different then what I remember. I can upload a print screen of what I mean if that helps. Also does it take sometimes after the airlines are installed before they are recognized? If not then what might be my next step? Thanks again
August 9, 201312 yr Let me just clarify, you've already installed successfully once? If so, I would completely uninstall all of those packages that it "thinks" are installed, delete the aircraft folders out of your simobjects folder. Do a 100% reinstall using the bulk installer. In theory it shouldn't take any time for it to appear after the simulator has been loaded. Are your AI traffic settings over 35%? Have you checked your AITraffic.cfg file? - - Tommy - -
August 9, 201312 yr Author Thanks for all who has helped, I have once again and verified that it is working. Much appreciated
August 10, 201312 yr Well, glad you got it working. I found when reinstalling WOAI recently that it assumes you've installed a WOAI package if the airline is mentioned in your airlines.cfg... so you just have to click through and ignore all the complaints it throws at you... it doesn't actually know what it is talking about.

Hmmm,...computers don't assume anything, at least not yet. In the folder containing the WoAI installer .exe are a couple files that don't appear to have extensions. One of them is something like WOAIDATA or something like that, sorry, no FS on this PC to check specifics. Moving that file out of that folder will effectively reset the installer into "believing" that there are no previously installed packages. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
August 10, 201312 yr Could be. I just know that for my last install, I had all of my VCPMODs installed before installing AI and I got that error. It made sense to me that WOAI would scan airlines.cfg to see what lines needed to be added.
August 10, 201312 yr It made sense to me that WOAI would scan airlines.cfg to see what lines needed to be added. Nope, doesn't work that way. WoAI has nothing to do with callsigns other than the aircraft.cfg entry. I have several hundred WoAI packages installed and my airline.cfg looks like the day I first installed FS9. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
