McPhat 737 UHDT
Thank you Ryan. We slip up once in a while. I guess like every company does, but we try to fix on the spot, as soon as possible. In the end it are PAYING customers who choose to buy our work instead of torrenting the frick out of it and that has to be 'rewarded' with prompt support and fixes. All the best, Terrence

You and me both buddy, you and me both. If I could turn back the hands of time and knew then what I know now, I would have certainly opted to go with the developments you mentioned, and not some of the ones we did now. Nothing we can do about it now though... 1. There's nothing photorealistic about that paint. You can't match a bump, specular and diffuse map that sharp, with cut and paste work. It's all handpainted. 2. Nobody's stopping them from doing so. They opted to take the freeware route, we opted to take the payware route (with a couple of freeware jobs on the side). Everybody's entitled to their own opinion, it's just a shame you feel the need to express yours with the use of words like 'bloody'. No need to swear... To the rest : Thanks everybody. It certainly is a joy to work on the NGX (as in A REAL PLANE) ;) Terrence

Improving performance in FSX
There is actually a very, very, very simple solution for this. The thing with HD textures is that they pose no problem when it comes to FPS. Or at least, hardly noticeable and we've been making them for quite some years now. What can happen is what you describe, slower initial loading times (from the aircraft selection menu) and/or slower load times in between views. It happens once in a while. Again, the solution is very simple. I am not going to support you here on this forum though, as this is not the place to do that.. Find me on our support forum and I'll get you sorted. AOA!
Thanks, you're so kind.. ;)Love the video, both of them. I usually skip videos longer than, say 5 minutes, but I sat through the entire VC video, it was that beautiful. Besides that, Nick seems to have a compelling voice, he could always take on a job narrating BBC documentaries if he wants to.. ;)Terrence

McPhat Stuido's Level-D 767 HD Textures Released
Website been a bit (<---understatement) dodgy today, so my apologies for that. I am finishing up on the one world livery at the moment and plan on getting it out before I got to bed. (22.05 now).Terrence

Should I buy it or not?
Thanks, but I've been on here for quite some years now (not really a high roller poster though), but I did a Facebook connect a few days ago and for some reason I lost my account/made a new one in the process. I liked Facebook connect better before people went all 'privacy' on them and they made you HAVE to link it to an existing account/make a new one. The whole idea of Facebook connect went out the door right there.

Should I buy it or not?
Still one of the best. And I am not saying that cause we are doing HD textures for it. Bought the FS9 version (8'ish years ago?) and did not hesitate to upgrade to the FSX version once it came out. To me, it doesn't look outdated. With the right textures (which you can also find here in the file library) it looks solid and the best thing : It is absolutely awesome on the frames.Together with the PMDG heavies a must have for any simmer, 767 fan or no 767 fan.Have fun with your purchase..
