  1. Realistic is completely not realistic. I use low on summer, medium on winter
  2. Don't care about anything else if physics and weather are not improved.
  3. If weather and physics stays the same, not interested.
  4. It makes that forum even more useless than it was before
  5. It's the constant shaking of MSFS simulation that is not realistic, not the Comanche being too stable.
  6. You have to click the door handle and then, BEFORE the door closes, click on the clickspot on the wing upper surface to exit the airplane.
  7. It didn't work fine at all. Official sources for airports are METARs not windy.com.
  8. I really don't get why people say weather was good before they introduced METARs: there was hardly ever the correct weather at the airport, why it was better?
  9. It's not black or white: the weather before SU7 was nice but it was miles off what metar reported. It's ok to have some variations, but not completely wrong weather.
  10. I can provide an example of my definition of "static" atmosphere of the "old simulators" given that we are apparently forbidden to name them. Airport XXXX metar has a report of wind from 21005KT: in the old simulators we have a wind of 21005KT without the minimum single variation. In MSFS if you have a wind of 21005KT you have at least some variation both in intensity and wind speed: this variation is poorly implemented? Yes, I think so, but it makes weather much more realistic. You can just check some real life videos on youtube and you find out that wind is never the EXACT wind the METAR reports for a number of different reasons. This is just an example and the same can be said for cloud coverage and the other parameters.
  11. I'm not referring specifically on you, but most developers have the tendency to recycle everything they can from old pieces of code which were used in FSX/P3D: PMDG did that and in addition to some issues the aircraft has, now they have problems with the EFB.
  12. I don't agree with this at all. In P3D/FSX the atmosphere was completely "static". I've recently had the chance to watch some of my old videos I made with FSX and I would never want back that weather, even if at that time it seemed ok.
  13. There still lot of potential for improvement, that's for sure. However if Hifi takes us back to the FSX/P3D weather, I'll take 100 times MSFS weather with all its faults.
  14. People complained because there were thunders where they weren't supposed to be, not simply because "there were too many thunders". Asobo wasn't able to fix it, so they completely scrapped them, like many other things.
