  1. Realistic is completely not realistic. I use low on summer, medium on winter
  2. Don't care about anything else if physics and weather are not improved.
  3. If weather and physics stays the same, not interested.
  4. Having flown PMDG aircraft in P3D, this is not the only thing that PMDG did well in P3D and awful in MSFS ...
  5. This. I don't have the B736, but the B737 is a nightmare to turn, awful ground physics. You are forced to perform standard 90° turns at 3 knots otherwise it understeers into the grass. Funny enough on the other side the B738 is much much better
  6. Good. Still nowhere near a commercial product.
  7. After the experience of MSFS2020, Idk how people can still compare the freeware Max8 that will come to MSFS2024 to commercial products ...
  8. https://fselite.net/content/ifly-737-max8-cockpit-previews/ Finally some real cockpit preview! Looks really promising. I really hope it can address PMDG serious weaknesses with LNAV/VNAV and many more. For the moment I can see real EGT values for the engines, so it's a good start.
  9. I know them. Their P3D MAX was spot on. I'm just fed up of this pax cabin obsession which is affecting many devs atm ...
  10. Everyone is now obsessed with pax cabin and stuff. I'll come back when they show real things like LNAV/VNAV, Autoland, AP behaviour and all the stuff where the 737 PMDG is lacking. Still a promising product.
  11. Did they need the sales of the Xbox to add features like the ability to photograph the animals for MSFS2024?
  12. MSFS has been ruined thanks to Xbox. You can say what you want but it is wishful thinking.
  13. It makes that forum even more useless than it was before
  14. It's the constant shaking of MSFS simulation that is not realistic, not the Comanche being too stable.
  15. You have to click the door handle and then, BEFORE the door closes, click on the clickspot on the wing upper surface to exit the airplane.
  16. It didn't work fine at all. Official sources for airports are METARs not windy.com.
  17. I really don't get why people say weather was good before they introduced METARs: there was hardly ever the correct weather at the airport, why it was better?
  18. It's not black or white: the weather before SU7 was nice but it was miles off what metar reported. It's ok to have some variations, but not completely wrong weather.
  19. I can provide an example of my definition of "static" atmosphere of the "old simulators" given that we are apparently forbidden to name them. Airport XXXX metar has a report of wind from 21005KT: in the old simulators we have a wind of 21005KT without the minimum single variation. In MSFS if you have a wind of 21005KT you have at least some variation both in intensity and wind speed: this variation is poorly implemented? Yes, I think so, but it makes weather much more realistic. You can just check some real life videos on youtube and you find out that wind is never the EXACT wind the METAR reports for a number of different reasons. This is just an example and the same can be said for cloud coverage and the other parameters.
  20. I'm not referring specifically on you, but most developers have the tendency to recycle everything they can from old pieces of code which were used in FSX/P3D: PMDG did that and in addition to some issues the aircraft has, now they have problems with the EFB.
  21. I don't agree with this at all. In P3D/FSX the atmosphere was completely "static". I've recently had the chance to watch some of my old videos I made with FSX and I would never want back that weather, even if at that time it seemed ok.
  22. There still lot of potential for improvement, that's for sure. However if Hifi takes us back to the FSX/P3D weather, I'll take 100 times MSFS weather with all its faults.
  23. People complained because there were thunders where they weren't supposed to be, not simply because "there were too many thunders". Asobo wasn't able to fix it, so they completely scrapped them, like many other things.
  24. Gone since 2021 at least in live weather.
