    I´m sorry Friends, this extreme variation is not real life, absolutely unapplicabe for intercept reference or to fly a QDR, QDM...,in Real life (i´m a Reallife Flight Instructor PPL/IFR) we have sometime variations like , Coastal Effect, Mountanios Effect or extremly in the near of Thunderstorms ( CB´s), but under normal circumstances we have not variations of +/- 30-40°, this ADF needle behavier is not correct, and a functionally automatic direction finder is one of the minimum equipment for IFR flying, greetings.
