  1. Gregg, Always enjoy your posts, there is a lot of good information both from yourself and in the correspondants replies. On the subject of engine starts using battery power alone, works fine every time for me. I just make sure that all non essential electrical services (for engine start)are switched out. Still learning the aircraft and expect to be for some time. Its a facinating aircraft, without doubt the best I have ever bought. Dave Jenner
  2. I noticed recently the same issue, there is a setting in FS Crew which turns off the PMDG call outs and replaces them with the FS Crew callouts. This means that when you operate the J41 with out FS Crew enabled the PMDG callouts are turned off. All you need to do is decide before running FSX wheather you will be using FS Crew or not, if using the J41 with out FS Crew then change the settings to enable the PMDG callouts, just remember to change back if using FS Crew. Hope this helps Dave Jenner
  3. Thanks gents, Now where did I put that credit card! David James Jenner
  4. I have REX installed and am considering getting GEX and UTX for Europe. Will these all work together? Regards David James Jenner
  5. Hi Rich,Have every confidence in PMDG but in the post it said "In terms of realism, it is not intended that this product be as detailed as, say, the NGX. While you will need to learn how to correctly (and effectively!) manage the engines and systems on the airplane, it will not have a failures module" I was just making a request to keep the detail and realism as high as possible. Did not mean to offend!Dave J
  6. Money and HDD space reserved. Please build as much realism with respect to systems and operation as you can.To be able to operate one of these as intended will be a much sought of experiance for many of us I'm sure.Best wishesDave J
