Been using Prepar3d for the past few days now and is such an improvement. Got all my scenery and a certain 737 product ported across with the FSX2P3D tool and also downloaded the file from the Flight1 Forum for EZDOK to work in Prepar3d.
When flying though at random times my EZDOK stops working and you can click through the cameras in the studio but they don't update in the simulator, it appears to look like this:
Any thoughts? As it's really annoying and is ruining my flights.
Thanks guys in advance.
I also had a freeze with 'Exit Hold' on the FMC but I also am getting freezes upon various phases of the flight (incl taxing) with no FMC Interaction, Patrick, you do seem correct all we have been flying is the -800 it seems, would be interesting to see if its similar results on the -900.
It happens with me at random phases of flight even when not touching the FMC (as others have stated) like during take off roll and landing and even taxiing at the holding point...
Quite possibly, but its happening at so many airports it seems...
Similar problems reported with the aircraft control surfaces and virtual cockpit/ panel freeze here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/341796-panel-and-airfraft-freeze/page__st__75
I don't know it seems more like a payload issue with the NGX, the way they have the two class layout or single class, it's obvious not every airline carries 145 passengers and 145 isn't the capacity of the 737-800 so hrm
Yeah would be good to actually get propper cabin layouts because 189 is a popular choice in Europe especially for low cost airlines squeezing the most out of their NG's. I haven't got the MD-11 but real time re-fueling would be rather cool.
Strangely I don't even have FSUIPC installed, it is a completely fresh install bar a couple of UK2000 Scenery airports, Aerosoft Palma, Ibiza & Menorca, Eiresim Alicante and GEX oh and obviously the NGX...
Just to confirm guys when you lose control (panel freeze) switch to the external model and although textures load okay and performance is fine as its still flying, if the aircraft was previously doing a turn the flight surfaces are physically 'frozen' on the external too so its the whole aircraft not just the virtual cockpit/ panel that is freezing as such.
