  1. OK, I got it figured out. Apparently when I updated to the latest version of P3D it replaced the file that has control mapping in it, so my joystick had mappings in P3D and FSUPIC. I had cleared them all out of P3D previously, but apparently I need to check that every time I do a client update. Thanks for the suggestions, I appreciate it!
  2. I don't have the flap commands set up as key commands, they are mapped to the FSUPIC "Flap incr" and "Flap Decr", so to the best of my knowledge FSUPIC isn't sending a key command for the flaps. So I'm not sure how there could be a conflict with AP disconnect, which is mapped to a key command. I will try moving the FSUPIC out of the modules folder when I finish my flight.
  3. OK, I turned off control inputs with AP on and it still disconnects every time I either increase or decrease the flaps, so no, that wasn't the issue. As I said, I have this set up exactly the same on the 777 and NGX and neither has this problem. John Croft
  4. This related to the 747v3 for P3D. I have my flaps mapped through FSUPIC (paid version) to a 3 way switch on my HOTAS joystick. The positions are mapped to Flap Incr and Flap Decr. Whenever I either extend a notch or retract a notch the autopilot disengages. This happens throughout the flap range. I also have the 777 for FSX and the NGX for FSX and I don't have this issue on them. In fact, this is the only aircraft that I have that has this issue. Any idea why this would happen only on the 747v3 for P3D? I would rather not have to submit a ticket. Thanks in advance. John Croft
  5. Yes, and was not working. In fact, no view movement was working at all, inside or outside, either through keyboard, hat stitch, or mouse. ALL my controls are set up through FSUPIC, except the View (Pan) control, because FSUPIC doesn't seem to do that as smoothly. Turns out that I had somehow hit CTRL-K, which apparently disables all controls directly input on FSX, but not those in FSUPIC. Once I hit it again everything returned to normal. Thanks for the response.
  6. Help. Started FSX (boxed version) today and the panning doesn't work, either in the VC or in outside view. I have it assigned to the Hat Switch on my HOTAS Warthog throttle. The hat switch works fine, and everything is normal in P3D. I NO NOT use Ezdok or any other camera software. I have attempted clearing the assignment, restarting the sim and reassigning it without luck. Also, FWIW, I have never used "mouse view", so I'm not sure how it works, but when I hit Shift-O I get a cross on the screen, but moving the mouse does NOT move the view around, with or without mouse buttons pressed. I'm thinking that I mistakenly hit a key or key combo that locked panning, but I've been searching on Google for about 4 hours and haven't found anything. If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful
  7. Sorry, I searched for it and didn't see it. Must have used the incorrrect search terms
  8. In SP1d, using the Continental livery, which has the steam type gauges, when the WX radar is selected on the EFIS panel the Compass rose expands too much and overlays the altimeter, with the leftmost number falling in between the altimeter and the VSI, instead of staying inside the map display is it should.
  9. OK, thanks so much. Sorry for the multiple posts, the AVSIM server kept telling me that it wasn't posting the topic.
  10. I am getting ready to install the new 1d update, and obviously I want to do a clean install if possible. My issue is that I have many many key commands mapped to my HOTAS Warthog and Cougar MFDs. Is there a way to keep these key mappings through the upgrade? A file I can copy someplace and then copy back? Thanks in advance.
  11. No, Comcast has not replaced Time Warner in my area yet. But I will attempt to change my DNS server settings in my router, maybe that is the problem. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll report back with my results in a little while. No, unfortunately changing the DNS server didn't work. I changed it both in my router and on the main machine to the OpenDNS servers, and no joy.
  12. OK, some further information. I have 2 broadband connection into my house. One is a Time Warner cable line, and one is an AT&T DSL line. All but one computer in the house is hooked up to the TWC ISP through a router and several switches. I can not access the site from any computer that is on this network. However, on the one computer that is on the AT&T network I can access the site without issue. Any ideas why I can't get to it from the network that is hooked up to TWC? Thanks.
  13. Any idea why I would keep getting a "Forbidden" message whenever I try to access it? I have tried it on 3 different rigs, but all go through the same router and ISP.
  14. I hate to post on a 5 year old thread, but I am having this exact same issue, with most of the airports that I fly into with the PMDG MD-11X. But this is the only aircraft that I have the problem with. With both the PMDG 737NGX and the PMDG 777, as well as all captain sim aircraft, the approach course is perfectly lined up. But with the MD-11X it is normally off at least 5-10 degrees, which makes the autoland not available. I would think that if this was an afcad file problem that it would occur with all my aircraft, not just one of them. Airports that I have noticed this at include KMEM, KEWR, RJAA, KMIA, and KSDF. Does anyone have ant ideas what could be causing this? Thanks.
  15. Has anyone else had problems accessing the airnav.org site? I have been trying to get into it for the last 3 days and all I get is a page that says what I posted below this. Airnav.com is down as far as instrument procedures, and I'm having problems finding a site with current charts. Am I doing something wrong trying to get to aircharts.org? Thanks ForbiddenYou don't have permission to access / on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
