  1. Dear Simmers, Do you have any thoughts, experience with Suppresion Flight Wet Operations vs. FSFX PrecipitFX. Both cost roughly the same. PrecipitFX is newer development and have more effects, e.g. contrails, wingtip vortices. What about performacne and FPS drop? Keep flying, Bart
  2. Damn, some external proccess not related to FSX rebooted my PC just 3 hours before arrival YMML.
  3. There so some other factor to consider as well: What about maintenace costs MD-11 vs 777F? What about safety of problems of MD-11? What about cost of pilot traing to operate these birds?
  4. I had frequent freezes and FSX crashes. After updating UIautomationcore.dll and RadeonPro (www.radeonpro.info) FSX is stable like a tank. Briefly about my rig: I have FSX Deluxe + Acceleration (DX10 preview) on Win 7 64 Ultimate, Asus Crosshair V, AMD 1100TBE @ 4GHz, 16 GB RAM, Asus HD 6970 with 4 screens, cockpit hardware (Yoke, rudder, joystick, etc) + tons of addons (commercial and freeware). I did some well known tweeks in fsx.cfg and shader fixer (the freeware one found at AVSIM) to squize max performance of my rather not FSX friendly hardware. I have installed: PMDG 737NGX, 777-200LR,F, 747, J4100, Majestic Q-400, ConcordeX, PassengersX, REX, GEX, ORBX GLOBAL+Vectors, FSUIPC, and more.
  5. Agree with Dave; no need to reboot FSX after flying 737NGX or 777. There must be some other problems.

Keep flying, Bart Of course I have PMDG 777, EGLL-YMML, 20 hours flight, no problem. Note on reducing load on CPU cores: I use freeware version of Process Lasso to set cores for diffreent addons and set priority levels as well. fsx.cfg AffinityMask=63 on AMD1100TBE
  7. EGLL to YMML, non stop 9100 NM, about 20h flight. Now over East Java FL370, 2500 NM and 5h 30m left.
  8. EGLL to YMML non stop about 21 hours. Now flying over Ukraine, having my GTAM shield activated.
