  1. Wow thanks very much all of you for your replies! Well, as you all pointed out indeed my GPU needs to be replaced. Right now i am looking at the GTX 780 3Gb and the GTX 770 4Gb. The pricing is not that much of a difference here where i live but i kinda think that the 780 performs better so i will probably end up going for that. Thanks again for your responses. Cheers
  2. Hello everyone! Hope you are doing good! As the title says, i finally decided to step away from Fsx and give X-Plane 10 a chance. Although i must say that after so many years of Fsx i feel scared of changing... Anyway, i was wondering since X-Plane 10 is more recent as a software what changes should i need in my rig in order to simulate that amazing HDR effect that we all have seen in some famous video? My current rig is: CPU: i5-2500K OC @4.2 Ghz GPU: Nvidia 560 Ti 1GB RAM: 16 GB Kingston Genesis Motherboard: Asus Maximus V Gene Z77 Cooler: Thermaltake Bigwater 760 Plus PSU: Thermaltake 750W Case: CoolerMaster Cosmos In addition, from what i have understood reading here and there maybe my GPU is not suited for X-Plane 10 as i meant to play it? Any additional information and advices from more experts people are welcome. Thanks for your time reading this!
  3. Ok so i ll go and add the games i want to the PC and i ll take care of my HDD pretty often then. Thanks for your time guys. Have a nice day. Appreciated
  4. Oh i see. By the way would it make any difference if u would put games in the same HDD as FSX or on another? EDIT: I meant same HDD but different partition!
  5. Hello everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying their vacation or at least trying to. I wanted to ask...as for now, i have built a FSX-exsclusive PC. Nothing else in there. Only my beloved FSX. So, i was thinking, since my laptop cannot handle latest games, to install them in the FSX PC but i am afraid of losing performance in the long run. Thing i do not want to because it took me 3 years to build my FSX PC. My question is... 1) Will installing other games (mostly online MMORPG games) in the same PC as FSX decrease performance in the long run? You know as the HDD fills up etc etc I someone with similar experience could answer me i would be grateful! Thanks again for your time reading this everyone! My PC specs: CPU: i5-2500K OC @4.2Ghz GPU: Nvidia 560 Ti 1GB RAM: 16GB Kingston Genesis Motherboard: Asus Maximus V Gene Z77 Cooler: Thermaltake Bigwater 760 Plus PSU: Thermaltake 750W Case: CoolerMaster Cosmos
  6. Hello once again! I have another question for you guys. I am really sorry to keep bothering you but i discovered this voxatc not long time ago and just know i am giving it a go. So, this time my problem is that while i am at an add on airport for example Heraklion X, AI traffic is parked where it should not be. For example, in military parking positions and is far from the standard commercial parking spots. In addition, i get some problems when vox atc handles my taxi to active runways. I get instructions to taxi via impossible taxi routes. Now, i know that this has been discussed before and some information were given to search the scenery folder for faulty .bgl or 2 afcads. In addition, someone told to use ADE to correct parking position and stuff. Now, i have used ADE before but how can i tell which .bgl or afcad or i don't know what is faulty? Here is my scenery folder for Heralkion X...from here on what should i do? If some has the patience to explain to me what exactly do i have to do i would be really grateful. http://imgur.com/URzcoLk http://imgur.com/YVKXiWM
  7. @badfinger thanks a lot! appreciate @supersym the changelog can be found at the vox atc webpage under news tab. They fixed the flight plan trainer thingy! Again thanks for your time guys! Cheers
  8. Hello again everyone. I am really sorry to bother you again. Now, i know that voxpop voices can be used with v6 and above but how about 6.46? So, wanted to ask if someone has already used without problems voxpop voices in 6.46 before i start the whole process of downloading and installing everything. If someone could be so kind to answer i would be grateful! Thanks for your time reading this
  9. The new version was just released and i confirm that flight plan trainer is working! Thanks everyone for the assistance
  10. Confirm! He responded to me too and will publish a fix in a few days i guess! Thanks everyone for the answers! Really appreciate it!
  11. It is ok! Do not worry. If someone has a solution please step ahead! Also, from my understading training voxatc through the ''flight plan trainer'' is crucial so that voxatc can understand you right? Because i tried 2 times voxatc till now and always replied to me "last aircraft please say again" Thanks again
  12. Well i tried to do as John said but when i downloaded the file needed to ''repair'' my .dll norton said it was a virus...huh? Also, one more thing that i can say is that i have windows 7 in a different language but i downloaded and installed the English language pack and have English US selected on the speech recogn program! Thanks again for your time helping this
  13. Hello everyone, I tried to contact voxatc but i get a proccessing error while doing so...here i am. I have downloaded and installed your software to test it. As written in the voxatc help documentation i try to open the flight plan trainer but as soon as i run it i get an error that looks like this... So i wanted to know if there is a fix available or not. I am running windows 7 ultimate edition. Thanks for your time See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'Interop.SpeechLib, Version=5.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. 14. Ok so after reading again here and there i found the asnwer to my problem here.... http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/68917-throttles-just-refuse-to-move/ As it said in the post above "Simply find "Aerosoft.AirbusX.Configurator.exe" located in Main FSX folder\aerosoft\Airbus X Extended. Run it while your FSX is CLOSED (!), and in the FADEC option select "Throttle axis count: [2]". Open FSX and select Airbus X A320/321, your throttles should work." I did this and worked like a charm. Thanks again for your time everyone!Cheers
  15. Ok, i will try it again once i get back home on Friday and report back to you with pictures if i am in trouble. I really want to make it work through FSX assignments because it is not possible that is working for you and not working for me. Anyway, i will report back on Friday. Meanwhile Happy Holidays!
