Different type of radios - something for sp2?
afireinside1988 replied to JC75's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
Would love to see the new Nav Radio in the NGX, probably an option for SP2? :) -
The Registration-Digits seen in your last pic have the wrong direction ;)

Hi Mark, thanks for the fast reply. Now, as you talk about air temperature, it comes into my mind, that often the temperature was really much warmer than reported from ASE. At the briefing page in ASE it reported temperatures between -50 to -60°C, but in FSX the upper DU reportet something around -25°C. I'm sure this would cause the problem but somewhere I've read, that ASE reports only OAT/SAT but the NGX shows TAT, could this be a reason for the differences? Is there any known fix or workaround for the wrong temperature injection from ASE?(Sorry for grammatically mistakes, my last english lessons was some years ago :))

I had the same issue sometimes with pre-sp1 base pack (HF4 installed). At FL300 the bird came into overspeed and didn't climb anymore. Had to reduce the speed manually at the CLB-Page in CDU, after that it worked fine. I use ASE for weather.

Made two flights today with the new Hotfix, the tutorial-flight and from EGPH to EGBB...no more freezes or CTDs, the 737 works fine now. Thanks for the great support PMDG! The NGX is a stunning bird -
Autopilot makes sharp turns NAV mode
afireinside1988 replied to Nigge's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
quite the same here. Since I updated the NGX with Hotfix 2922, the autopilot seems to be very problematic. It turns left and right like there would be strong wind-changes. Also the AP deactivates itself when the joystick (Logitech Force 3D Pro) is moved just a really little bit, so the head-knob (for view-change) is not usable. Both things worked well before the update. Is there any work on that problem?
