Hi I have both Free Mesh X and FS Global 2010. Do I need to install both for FSX? If your answer is installation of both of them , what will be their locations in FSX Library?As you know installation of FS Global 2010 is very lengthy , is there any way to reduce the process?

Hi Yesterday I installed Aerosoft Maderia in FSX. The airport itself works great but there are some graphic problems near the airport. I have following softwares in my FSX: 1- FS Global 2010 2 - Free Mesh X 3 - UTX Europe v2 4 - FTX Global 5 - FTX Global Vector Here some pictures :

Hi I have both UTX and ORBX OpenLC for North America and Europe for FSX . Do I need to installed both and if your answer is no , which one do you prefer?

And when it comes to throttle slope setting in FSUIPC calibration, what is your recommendation?

Hi everybody Since the first weeks of flying with PMDG777 about two years ago I have had difficulty in holding speed manually in approach and landing. When I want to perform manual landing with manual throttle control I have had difficulty in keeping airspeed steady something which I can do very well with 737NGX. I tried both FSX own calibration as well as through FSUIPC but no success.

Hi I got a problem with ASN which I purchased about two years ago. I live in Iran. ASN worked perfectly until recently. It is now about two weeks that ASN could not connect to HiFi Simulation servers to download the weather. I have to use VPN services to get to HiFi servers. Also I could not access to HiFi Simulation website and have to use VPN to do so. It is frustrating that it happened as most of the international restrictions imposed on Iran are being lifted.

Thanks a lot PMDG and happy new year. I have a question regarding the uninstallation and installation process. Until now for previous updates I launched the PMDG 777-300ER new installer by which first I uninstalled the 300ER Expantion then launched the PMDG 777-200LR/F new installer by which I uninstalled the PMDG 777-200LR/F. After these two uninstallation I reboot the system and installed the 777 base package and then new 300ER and again reboot. Is that what I should follow for this new release?

Hi I have a problem with PMDG Operation Center Livery Manager. For the second time ( first one was with 777) , this time with 737NGX when I installed a repaint which I had downloaded from Avsim Library , there was two of the same livery in the Livery Manager.

Hi I have Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, Pro Flight Quadrant and Pro Flight Rudder Pedal for FSX. Do I need to install theirs drivers? What about Saitek FSX Plugin?

So why PFPX or 777 FMC do not have such warnings?

Hi, I have a problem regarding TOPCAT calculations for take-off in PMDG 777F. The PFPX gives me the figures about ZFW , LW , ... which all are within limits and much lower than the related maximum ones. But when I export the flight plan to TOPCAT to compute the take-off performance it warns me " Perf.Limit Weight 248785 kg -Take-off weight ( 326099 kg) exceeds perf. limit weight ." I fill all boxes in TOPCAT such as cargo , fuel ,wind , temperature , flap , ... . Regards

Hi, I've installed 777 in FSX a year ago and updated it until SP1d. Do I need reactivation after installation of SP1d given it requires full uninstalltion of 777?

Hi everyone I just downloaded ftx global vector v1.20 full installer and want to uninstall vector v1.5 to install the new one. There is no uninstaller for the program in its installation folder.How can do that?

Hi , Happy new year for all of you Last night I had a real time and real weather (ASN) flight from OIIE to VRMM (Aerosoft Maldives scenery) by PMDG 777-300ER witch took about 5 hours. Prior to TOD as usual I saved the flight and without leaving the flight, continued my descent to Male airport. Just before touchdown in RWY 36 I saw some parts of the runway as well as its lights were missing.After landing and as the plane proceeded in the runway it was visible for several meters and then went missing for another several meters and that repeated until the end of runway. I parked my plane at the gate and exit FSX. An hour later I restarted FSX and loaded the saved descent part of the OIIE-VRMM flight. This time everything went well and all parts of runway and its lights were present. Later I did a pattern traffic flight from Male rwy 36 with a default Cessna and again everything appeared ok. I also checked VRMM with FTX Vector configuration tool but it found no problem. Unfortunately I forgot to make a picture of the problem to post here but tried to explain it as clear as possible. Hi , I use ASN along with REX 4 in FSX. It seems that sometimes ASN uses cloud and sky textures of REX 4 and FSX together. Is there any way to make ASN to use only REX 4 high quality cloud and sky textures for weather depiction. Also it seems that when ASN depicts weather, there are some low quality and low altitude FSX own cloud textures here and there that apparently have nothing to do with the ASN work and are there because they are there! Sorry I am out of home now so i can not post any picture in this respect.

Hi , I have Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System for FSX and fly PMDG 777 and PMDG MD-11 for most of the time. I also have Logitech joystick with twist handle which I use for moving planes on ground. I know having rudder pedals will enhance my flying experience but is that a must to have rudder pedals when you use yoke system especially during manual landing of these giant birds?

Hi , do you have any personal experience on using FSPS Frictionality and specially FSPS Sim Physics in FSX along with PMDG 777, PMDG MD-11 and Active Sky Next? Do you recommend this combination?

Hi My old problem in the FS2004 days is back today in FSX. I installed Aerosoft LeipzigHalle scenery today. After installation I checked the airport and it seemed ok but when I backed to the FSX main page it was the Munich airport there as well as for entire Germany. To select another German airport I had to select another country and then back to Germany and select my airport but as soon as I exit the flight and back to FSX main page I saw it was there : Munich. Any advice to solve the problem would be appreciated.

Hi, I bought Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System for my FSX several days ago. I downloaded its latest driver but it is very small (less than 5 m). I run the driver as well as its calibration but nothing has installed in my computer regarding Saitek. Is there something wrong in this respect? Also do you have any recommendations for me on the best settings and tweaks for the yoke system? Do you recommend installing Saitek SST software? I am going to use yoke system for PMDG MD-11 and 777.

Hi Bryn First of all thanks a lot for this wonderful gauge. I've installed it into two my PMDG planes ( MD-11 and 777). It works great in 777 but in some repaints of MD-11 (not all of them) in the Views > Instrument Panel there is no Radar Guage and Radar Opener. All repaints of both planes are from PMDG.

Hi. I wanted to fly this route by PMDG MD-11 several days ago. The route offered by Route Finder and ASC has a > shape and passes across the Atlantic to the Africa near Senegal then fly up along the continent's coast towards Europe but when I checked planes routes between these two airports in FlightRadar24 it turned out to be almost direct routes. Which one is real?
