Is there any way to solve this then? I'd much prefer to see custom scenery than default ground textures.

Hi guys, I am having issues with certain sceneries from FSX. For example, SimGiants GCFV scenery has a mesh of the island, but it isn't getting loaded. I am just getting the default P3D mesh (too much grass on a volcanic island doesn't look that great to be honest), and black taxiways in certain places. Any known fix for this?

Hi there, I have fixed this error a year or so ago, and my FSX has been stable since. However, after I installed SkyHighSim's Belgrade, and Mega Airport Brussels X tonight, I have crashed twice with the BEX error; on ground in Belgrade (after which I deinstalled LYBE), and in the air 30 minutes into the flight to Brussels from Berlin Schonefeld. I have fixed this issue before by setting "System Managed Size" in Memory Settings under Advanced System Settings in Windows 7, but it seems that this fix wasn't definate. I also use DX10, but before installing EBBR and LYBE, it worked fine; could that be the culprit? I haven't, no. I just installed them and launched NGX DEFAULT panel state. I noticed it after setting up the aircraft for departure, it could have been there longer.

Hi there, I'm experiencing a very strange bug after installing some Ryanair liveries from the AVSIM library. My ground power unit is connected to the plane, but all the options in Ground Connections are off. Likewise, if I fiddle with plane options inside the FMC setup screen, for example if I enable the SATCOM antenna, nothing happens. Another option toggles it. And the eyebrow windows option toggles the ground power unit. Any ideas? I'm confused. Loading different panel states do not seem to solve the issue either, and nor does a restart or a reboot. It happens on all liveries of the PMDG product now. I am using SP1c.

Hi there, I have been leading my own VA, flyeuro.com for the past 1.5 years. It is a relatively short amount of time I imagine compared to some of larger VAs who have existed for more than 10 years, but I am already running out of patience. While I am a very patient man, the fact is, VAs are not easy to run. I accepted this challenge right at the start, and until now, my virtual airline is quite successful at achieving what I set out to do. "To create a realistic simulation of a low-cost airline in Europe". However, while we are achieving this objective, we cannot fulfill the activity in terms of pilots. We have established ourselves as a solid airline, but pilots just register, and usually never return. Some do a flight or two, and never return. Some of them stay, and fly for a longer period, however even they get bored, and leave eventually. They usually get replaced by another regular pilot... I like to be a personal critic and change and upgrade things as I go, however I strongly believe that this VA has very few shortcomings. I have analyzed this today quite rationally, and arrived to multiple conclusions. The website offers almost everything, and is simple to use. No offence but 80% of the websites I see make me vomit. The other minority belong to professional airlines, who as said above existed for a long time. We have a fleet model which supports both realism and variety. During our time, we have been made official by VATSIM, IVAO and even recognized by VATEUD but to name a few. We have also partnered up with organizations to offer discounts. We have invested in a Custom ACARS software, and invested into different servers to create subsidiary airlines, to add variety. We have also recently rolled out a mobile website, to satisfy mobile users. Our operations offer more than a 1000 routes from 16 European hubs, across 10 countries, with a fresh low-cost livery, and extensive support for payware and freeware liveries. We also update our network every two months, with new hubs and destinations, withdrawing those underperforming bases. In my humble opinion, I don't think any fictional VA would do this. In terms of marketing, we always inform our users of new updates on social feeds such as Twitter and Facebook. We have done promotional video campaigns, posted adverts, and nothing truely seems to attract regularity from pilots. We even had regular VATSIM/IVAO events, and a Training Academy but they were ceased due to lack of interest from pilots. None of these benefits or methods attract more attention. While the activity is there, it does not ever peak. Fourty or so pilots (out of 250 we have) stay regular, and fly at least once per 30 days. However, you don't see more than 5-6 flights a day. While I will never change this, I feel dissapointed by the fact that everyone seems to flock to real virtual airlines, often their favourites in real life, while missing the potential of fictional airlines. I do understand that there are a lot of VAs with the same issue, and we are not alone probably. Although I do not want to speak too highly of my VAs image, I believe I have done a lot with my staff team to create a professional image, and yet there is no major activity. I think we deserve better, and I'm sure there are other VAs out there who do so too. But now, I do ask you professionals, other VA leaders, enthuasists... Hi, As in the title, I cannot hear any callouts or sounds while using headphones. I can hear the engine sound, but I can't hear any callouts, or comms from the pushback system. This does not happen on speakers, where I can hear all sounds okay. Any ideas what could be wrong, and whether there is a fix?

After the heatwaves invaded Britain over the last few weeks, its time to bring in a breeze of refreshing wind into flyeuro. We're proud to roll out our major low-cost division overhaul. We've listened to our pilots during our Public Meeting, and we're adding what our pilots, to give them choice, flexibility and moreover the ultimate satisfaction with their flyeuro experience. With deep regret, we have retired two, underperforming hubs, however this move was inevitable in our need to improve and expand. Hubs at East Midlands Airport and Budapest Airport have been officially closed. This does however open a new chapter in the airline's history, as we are expanding in our primary markets in Poland, Netherlands, Germany and Spain, giving our pilots more routes and destinations to visit. As of immediate notice, our pilots can now enjoy flights from four new hubs; Frankfurt in Germany, Rotterdam in Netherlands, Barcelona in Spain and Gdansk in Poland. With Barcelona and Frankfurt as hubs, we'd like to give passengers the ability to reach the big cities faster than before. Hi there, There's no end to my issues with the 737, and I'm evidently still learning Today, after takeoff, I was climbing with LNAV and VNAV onto FL370. The maximum FMC could handle was FL378, so I entered 37000 ft in the INIT REF page, activated and departed. I began to climb, everything was fine, AP activated, it was going all damn smooth. Eventually at around TOC, speed started to fall until I received BUFFET ALERT. Presumably, there has been a lot of topics about the buffet alert, fine, but why does my speed fall to a critical 170kts and below when I did absolutely nothing different to my previous flights where the VNAV has been functioning properly? The wind is also null, 0kts, and I'm wondering what I could be doing wrong, and how can I fix my probably terrible and simple PMDG mistakes? I'm fed up flying at 230kts, with speed dropping 99% of the time, while maintaining my altitude with no winds.

The thing is, I have a default Heathrow scenery. I assume that can't be disabled, can it? Haha. I've noticed this cockpit reload happen at other places too, just not when I was on finals at Gatwick, it happened at gate, taxi... And it lagged.

Hi there, I had this bizarre issue while approaching Gatwick today at VATSIM, and landed a bit rough because of a small slow down on finals. Basically, I was flying at sunset and as it happens, PMDG likes for some reason to refresh panels at night. They basically turn off for a second and turn on again, almost looking like a refresh of the dials and such. Unfortunately, this causes a lag and it only happens at night. I'm not sure if anyone experienced this, but is there a way to avoid this from happening? It just incredibly ruins your landing

I have resolved some of the issues, however some still exist, and I'm finding a refund might be necessary, it is a hard software to set up. Before I'll do that though, I'm convinced that the brilliancy of this addon can still be unleashed entirely. Now I have this issue, where if I switch a view, and I can't work out when or at what stage, since no pattern seems to follow, mouse look appears to be jammed on for no reason. The issue is, I haven't enabled it on the button. Even disabling and enabling EZCA doesn't resolve the problem. Basically, FSX is unbearable with this...

I figured that out. I just cant see the space button mapped in FSX, could you point me towards which one I should remove? And for me anyway, EZdok poses the biggest issue with FSRecorder, and it is not mentioned anywhere how to work around it.

Hi there, I am having some moments of frustration (mind you, I'm used to these around FSX *sarcasm*) with EZdok camera, as I can't get some of the things to work. I like EZdok for it's dynamic camera system, but the setting up of it is rather difficult I was wondering how I could fix these: 1. When I press and hold SPACE, I can look around with my cursor. But almost about a second as soon as I stop moving my cursor, while still holding down the space button, the view changes back to the default. Default being where it was before I moved the camera. Is it supposed to do this? Or is it supposed to stay where I stopped moving? I tried to disable Middle Mouse Button in the settings, and that worked with the space button, but after unpausing, it would just send always the camera into the pilot's seat and you could not move it. It would change it back to the default again - this case, the seat 2. When I press SPACE in for example outside view using EZdok, the view returns back to the cockpit, and I can't figure out why? 3. I'm trying to use EZdok with FSRecorder to shoot videos. Trouble is, I usually do it through playback, and the keys largely interfere with the controls. I noticed that in FSRecorder you can't change PageUp and PageDown, buttons which basically move the stages of the recording. You can in EZdok however, so I went and changed it to Numpad buttons - it wouldn't work. I changed it to Shift+PageUp and Shift+PageDown, still, didn't work. Confusing and annoying. How can I compromise between the two? 4. In the spot view outside when using the middle mouse button, I can turn the camera sideways but I can't pan it up and down at all. Any offers?

Hi, I have an issue with blurry ground textures. It seems that it happens not only to me, but plenty of others, however I just can't get my head round why it's still blurry after all of the changes I've applied. I installed FSX and followed Word Not Allowed's guide. Unfortunately, I was a bit stupid to install FSX on the SSD, rather than the system, but that's a story for another time. I set up cfg first using Bojote's tweaker, and it produced similar results. I was then referred to NickN's guide which I read through a few times, and decided to go for some tweaks with Word Not Allowed's guide beside. And this is how it looks with all the changes applied It's utterly disgraceful for a quad core system, I think.
