  1. Hi In prepar3d 2.4 with fully updated ASN i can for the most see a clear cut between some kind of haze layer. Hope you can see my screenshot and help me with some possible solutions. Thanks! https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8oZO7LSJmaVNXZ3dnpzTHVqOHc/view?usp=sharing
  2. Hi Edward I cannot give you any guaranties about these sites security, but i have often downloaded from here: http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.html?query=winrar&platform=Windows%2CMac%2CiOS%2CAndroid%2CWebware%2CMobile&searchtype=downloads And i have had no problems. Anyway do a google search on these "download websites" and then decide if you thrust them. Regards Thomas
  3. Hi For the RAR problem, just get Winrar here: http://winrar.da.softonic.com/
  4. I am no expert, but i notice your install path for FSX is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe" I think best practice is to install FSX on a non-default path. Run FSX as admin and disable UAC if this still exists in Win8? Maybe this will make a for a more stable installation, because there will be no rights issues... You have two HDs and one of them is SSD, is both OS and FSX on the SSD?
  5. This is in 777-200... Plus you can add 17kts wind from 80 degrees left.
  6. Haha okay, maybe i should have asked, would you land here in real life, not FSX :-)
  7. can the picture be seen now?
  8. With this on you weather radar, what would you do? This is now, at EDDF - Frankfurt... https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8oZO7LSJmaVMEQxX00yc1hIV3M/edit?usp=sharing
  9. Hi Ric Thanks! I will take a look. Thomas
  10. Damn! i need a new disk! Thanks Domkle :-)
  11. Hi and thanks But the question was because i need to know if i have the space needed, otherwise i need to buy on more disk. So just an estimate on how much an avarage installation takes in GB, thank you. Thomas

  13. Hi Thinking about trying out Prepar3D, so I have a couple of questions. Around how many GB should i have for an Prepar3d installation, with: FTX global FTX NA UTX EU UT2 PMDG 737, J41 Dont take the list to serious, i just need som pointer on a "usual" installation. Is EZdok compatible? Is any other software a must-have for Prepar? Thank you
  14. Hello DX10 experts I am hoping that some of you, could take a look at my setup to see if there is any performance gains that can be made. The reason is because my sim is not feeling "fluid". My FPS seems pretty stable at around the locked 30 FPS, only sometimes dipping to 23-25. So what i am looking for is the fluid feeling. Also i have some white flickering pixels, see the screenshot. I am flying NGX737 to and from major airports in Europe and VFR in the Duke60 in American ORBX-land, its the same performance-feeling in the two scenarios. Hardware: i7-2600k @ 4.5 GTX670 4GB 8GB RAM SSD for FSX 27" @ 2560x1440 + second monitor for "stuff" Software: DX10 fixer FTX Global FTX NA UTX Europe ASN EZdok AES FS2CREW IVAP Ultimata traffic 2 (0% traffic set) Nvidia inspector Nvidia driver ver. 337.88 NI settings: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8oZO7LSJmaVQkpJbUxVUTcwWHM/edit?usp=sharing White pixels: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8oZO7LSJmaVT1dsX25LZUNOSTA/edit?usp=sharing CFG:
  15. Hi I posted this on a2a forum some days ago, but there is no replies, and would really like to hear, how others configure for the best turbulence experience.... ---------------------------------------------- Does the turbulence effects in accufeel only simulate effects if there is reported turbulence, or will it simulate effects just because there is wind? I am asking because i was expirementing with your new C172R, and i turned on accufeel but only the turbulence effects, and i got constant turbulenceeffects and the same amount both in 5kts and 25kts wind. I have searched on your forum for an explanation on how it works, but could not find a clear answer. I have tried with FSX own weather, OPUS and FS Global real weather, i cant find the right combo of settings. I would like to get turb-effects only when there is turbulence and not all the time, and i would prefer to fly with FS Global real weather, is this possible? Thanks Regards Thomas
