Even though I have been a happy user of Opus, I couldt resist it anymore, and had to buy FSGRW. Very happy so far. What I missed in opus was smooth weather transitions, something that FSGRW seems to do better. I wonder though if its possible to use all Opus camera effects in combination with FSGRW. Anyone knows?

Tried fsgrw, seems great, but so is also Opus, so I am sticking with it. Love the fact that opus offers realistic cameras with dhm and integrated with live weather. Turbulence effects also good, perhaps slightly less pronounced than fsgrw, but not worth paying another 60 usd. Finally I like opus weather reports.

How's fps compared to Ngx and/or milviz 737?

I wonder how much fps I will lose going from 1900 to 2500 res using a 660 ti gpu. Any idea?

I am also considering going from 24 to 27 inch. I am afraid of the picture getting to pixelated and loss of fps. Would I need 2500x1900 resolution for a screen of that size?

Wow i have never studied the autogen world in that much detail. Next time I am flying low and slow I will be on the look out for McDonald's

I am getting about 3-5 extra FPS compared with the NGX.

Still loving this plane. A couple of questions: 1. I have trouble engaging LNAV and having the plane follow my route. I know that I need to setup the plane to intercept the track but I still dont get it to work. Am I missing something? 2. VOR/OBS. I have setup the right nav1 frequency and the station seems to be recognized as theres a DME readout. Still when I turn the OBS course knobs, I cant center the needle to find out what direction I need to fly to get to the VOR. Never had this problem with other planes. Am I missing something or is there a bug? I tried to post this in your forum but couldnt find any register account button. Thanks again for an amazing plane.

I had this bird for a couple of days now and I absolutely love it! Amazing immersion. Great cockpit textures, what a worn out cockpit! As I sit in this cockpit I imagine flying a low cost domestic carrier in Congo! The soundset is incredible. The night lighting one of the best I have seen. The performance/FPS is also great. Definately better than the NGX (as can be expected given less complexity). I am able to fly with higher scenery settings and still enjoy a smooth ride. Time will tell but I think this bird will be my new favourite aircraft, having kicked the NGX off the throne after staying there for two years. Milviz, please give us some more airliners. I Imagine a filthy old 747, or what about a Dash 8100?

A short circuit around around one of my favourite airports, Valdez (PAVD) in the incredible ORBX South Alaska Scenery. I am flying with the just purchased Milviz 737, and its amazing! Definately will be my new favourite aircraft. What is great is that I get a very realistic airline simulation, and that is still forgiving FPS wise, allowing me to max out my scenery slides and still experience fluid sim that most of the time stays locked at 30.

Love ftx global. Massive improvement over fsx vanilla. I find the textures for Norway way better than gex. Night lighting is also awesome.

For me it's about pretending to to be an airliner pilot, something I have always wanted to be, but in the end I found out I would rather do it just a few hours per week, as opposed to making it a full time occupation.
