  1. I thought I knew where it was (SouthEast of McGrath). I've flown around that area all morning and the pointer is always "out of range" Can anyone give me some clues on how to get this AOD?
  2. Who knows, perhaps they ran out of them.
  3. Well the aerocache count seems to change. After todays Coconut Island aerocache, my count is now 163. I'm not real concerned about the count, I was just wondering what others were showing.
  4. Yup, all messed up again. Not sure how I'm doing compared to others, but I think I have 168 of them. If I'm missing some, I guess I'll never figure out what ones they are.
  5. I flew through the center of the aerocache for Cone Island 5 times, and it never registered. It's a buggy one. Don't even bother (but it's at about 4,200 feet if you want to try for yourself)
  6. Thanks to all for advice and suggestions. 3:00 AM I got it working right, like it used to. At the highest settings, I made the flight up to the top of Mt. McKinley. Hoo Rah.
  7. Kabronicus, I've tried LOW settings, I've tried windowed mode, I've run checkdisk, I've done a dianostic on the video card, and Nothing seems to work. Flight is the ONLY program I'm having a problem with, so i doubt it's the video card. (it checks out fine). Now no matter where I fly, I can fly for about 10 min, and then the screen goes black, and I lose any control of the computer. Now where do I look on how to do a clean Uninstall and then re-install flight. Not fun.
  8. Thanks Hook, tried that, but it didn't help. Worse than I thought. It appears I can only fly for about 10 min and then it crashes the computer. Looks like a video problem but I'm not smart enoung to figure those things out. I'd delet Flight and re-install it, but I'm not sure how to do all that, and don't know if I want to bother since it's going TU.
  9. For some strange reason, I can't fly anywhere close to Mt. McKinley without my computer crashing. I can fly all over Hawaii, and most of Alaska but Mt. McKinley is the first aerocache I haven't been able to get. (other than the one at 85,000 feet). I've tried 5 times and each time I start getting close, my screen goes black. The computer is still on, but I have no control of anything and have to do a hard reset to get the computer working again. Strange......
  10. I'm not a teckie person, so I have a graphic card question. I currently have a Nvidia GeForce GT220 in my Dell computer. Flight and x-plane both run smooth. My question is: Would I see a difference if I went to something like a GTX560 Ti? I only have a 360 watt power supply so I'd guess I'd need to beef that up also. Any thoughts?
  11. Good work, keep at it.
  12. Well that one was a bit of a challange. Swoop down to get it, it's right near the edge of the lake.
  13. I guess I'll put out money for something with a cockpit. I'll never spend another penny on anything without a cockpit.
  14. Shouldn't have much of a problem finding this one. It's on the top of Mt. Cleveland.
  15. I want to thank both parties that responded to my plea for help. I now have Flight working again, and have all my content. It even found all my records (well almost all). I had to start at level 0, and can do all the missions again. But at least my profile shows everthing I've done (like 146 aerocaches) Thanks guys you were a big help.
