  1. My own thoughts are that the majority of us do love the potential of MS Flight and many people have offered constructive criticism on the MS Flight forum and have received absolutely no feedback from anyone at MS Flight, so the next best thing that can be done is to come to sights such as this one to vent their frustrations in the slim hope that someone from MS is watching these forums(doubtful, but hope does spring eternal). Just take a look at MS Flight forums and it seems like a very onesided revolt is happening. I am sure if the hoards could they would have stormed the gates of Flight and burned in down by now. lol
  2. To me the main point that is being missed here is not whether MS Flight is a success or a failure, it will be whatever the MS decides it will be. The point is that MS really does not give a rats butt what any one of us thinks. Just go on the MSFlight web page ( I am sure you all have) and it's quite obvious they do not wish to converse with any of their fan base whether they be appreciative fans or disappointed fans. You might just as well beat your head against a brick wall, it might feel better. The least MS could do is give is respond to fans who want this platform to work, throw us a bone or something, but no, not one word, other then to push their predetermined agenda. Such a shame really because I really to love the concept, I bought in hook line and sinker(other than the fighters), but now I have not flown on Flight in three weeks, instead of flying now, I am just following the forums hoping for some kind of miracle. MS will only listen when it fails and even then they won't talk to us about it. I just love huge business.....NOT It is all about the marketing when all is said and done....Good thoughts on the subject. :)
  3. I agree with your thoughts on the subject,Flight should only get better given time, but the boredom has set in for me. I am not a fan of flying a plane from behind so I have my hopes pinned on Alaska. Until then I will bide my time with other games.
  4. It would be interesting to see the actual sales numbers for these cockpitless aircraft versus the number of people who have bought into MSFlight, but I am afraid you may be right, this is the direction MS has chosen and it seems to be working for them. Time will tell though.
  5. Not one non cockpit plane in my hanger, never will be.....next stop Alaska.....Maybe then I will spend some money again.
  6. I am with you on this one.....it is the total lack of response from any one person or moderator from MS Flight that upsets me the most. Whether we are expressing positive or negative feedback, not one person has been answered. This is a slap in the face to the people who are laying out monies to buy this product. If any one of us was to walk into a restaurant, clothing store, car dealer, etc and receive that kind of response 9 out of 10 of us would do an about face and never look back and this is exactly how I feel MS Flight is treating their customers.
  7. I have not played Flight in over two weeks and counting now, I will wait for Alaska and see where it goes. Such a shame because the basic package was such a teaser. I bought into everything except the cockpitless aircraft as I like to sit behind the stick. I do check into the MSFlight site for future changes, but it all seems strangley quiet. There used to be a lot more comments, but even those have tapered off.
  8. I'm with Uncle Larry, name and shame the idiot..there may not be rules, but there are things called minding your own bloody business.
  9. Thanks for the headsup and I will check it out for sure.
  10. Ok, I am old and outdated. is steam just a third party company that will operate on behalf of MS?
  11. I am with the majority on this one, I will not buy an aircraft that does not allow me to sit under the glass. Once in awhile I will pop out to have a look at the runway alignment, but that is it.Still waiting for something useful to offered before I spend another penny. I bought all in except for the cockpitless wonders, now I am beginning to get bored.
  12. I am still having the same problems with MSFlight so maybe it's true....they really don't give a rats butt about what we have to say.To this point I have very much enjoyed flying in Hawaii, but as each day goes on my interest is beginning to wane. There is really not enough there to hold a persons interest. As one person mentioned....you hire on as a clandestine pilot and you can fly up to 5000' and still get the job done without penalties.Chasing aerocaches wears thin also and who cares about collecting points or flying to 100.00 burgers if you gain nothing from it...maybe dangle a carrot....throw in a free plane or a few points toward a new ride.I really am ticked at the lack of response from MS on there own website....Talk about dissing the people that are more than willing to spend their hard earned cash on what could be a very good flight sim.I am one of those who will not be spending one red cent more until they show me something worth buying.....not planes without VC's.Other than that I do like the concept.Brian
  13. Probably doesn't matter considering MS doesn't seem to be answering any of the comments. I hate to say it but the sight just seems like a big hole you speak into and all you hear back is your own voice. :)
  14. Let me check that out Aaron and thanks again.BrianNope, nothing at all. still shows me as signed in, but I still do not have a way of posting a commment...Very frustraiting really.
  15. This has to be the simplest question of all. How in heck to I leave comments on Microsoftflight.com? For the life of me I can not seem to find a way to leave comments even though I am signed in. Am I just blond or what?Brian
