I never really got a solution to this problem, All suggestions made made little impact. ATC still only works with Clearance, Ground and Tower. As soon as tower hands me over to departure or approach, ATC does not work. I say the exact same words that native ATC says. MCE even displays them on the message line correctly but ATC just does not respond. I even open the ATC manual and try all the different phrase options to contact departure and it just doesn't work. It happens with all planes, IFR or VFR and in all Airports. I have downloaded and installed from scratch the latest P3D (4..4) and the latest MCE and still have the same problem. I manually click ATC the option and contact Departure, then I try again to respond to their instructions. Nothing happens again until I click manually. As soon as I am handed to tower for final approach, everything works well again!

I am using airliner call sign. But it happens even with GA. I have checked that it is still seeing it as per your advice above but still have no luck. I have to repeat the response sometimes five times.

I have the same problem but worse. Native P3D V4 ATC works well form clearance delivery to tower. After being handed over to Departure, communication becomes very problematic. 90% of the time, there is no response at all till I use "ATC option X". This was never a problem before upgrading from P3D V3. Everything worked perfectly in that version. I have done voice training more that 20 times (literally) and the ATC will respond sometimes to the 6th call of exactly the same words same voice and same talking speed and tone. Once back to tower on the landing airport, the problem reduces or goes away. Problems are with Departure Approach, and Centre. No problem with Clearance, Ground and Tower. Any suggestions please.

I am facing a similar problem but my case is better as my old computer is still barely working and I can access most things on it if I cajole and talk to it nicely. I want to remove things from it urgently as it is in its twilight days. Where can I get instructions to de-register all my PMDG products - MD11, 737NGX, 747X, Jetstream 4100 and 777 so I can reinstall them on the new computer? I am not a very highly computer literate person.

Such a magnificent plane for me till Version 1.7. I have huge problems with the latest version 1.8. It keeps banking hard to the right (on the average once every two launches) immediately I engage the Autopilot. ILS approach has become a mission as it disconnects too high with a message that says "ILS CAT II FAILURE" at all airports I have tried. Last version had no issues at all, as long as the approach speed was right, and I am thinking of uninstalling the latest version and reinstalling the last one. Otherwise one of the best addons ever made for FSX (my opinion)

This being the unofficial P3D forum I hope I can get help for an unsupported product from colleagues. I miss my PMDG 747 X and my MD 11 X. I will for ever be indebted to anyone who can tell me how to tweak the localiser to work. Everything is ok but the map display shows the aircraft to the right of the runway even when it's on the threshold on the ground. After take-off it flies the LNAV correctly until on approach it captures the ILS. The localiser initially centres and then slowly moves off and remains off centre until it stops being solid and the plane lands off the runway (unless a go around is initiated. Someone mentioned that the aircraft work on P3D with some tweaks. Can anyone please help me? Seetella
