  1. Hi David, At some point I definitely wish to add sounds too. Had already seen how you have added those to the NEO yourself. Can I use some of those if I wanted to? Thanks for the how-to. I may have more questions when I get to that point. First I want to get the flows right per FCOM. I under-estmated the amount of work that goes into that, but it is also fun to do. I think you are talking about Dieter, are you? 😄. Kind regards, Daniel
  2. Thanks Gerald, I have done a lot of tests today and think I figured it out. For scripted commands like 'all pumps on' the duration of the action is taken into account, the next command starts about 2 seconds after he has switched them on and then concludes that they are on. For Notify commands the time to speak the text is not included in the duration of the command. The next command starts about 2 seconds after the start of that preceding Notify command. The user should increase the pause time to cover for this or an overlap will occur. All clear. Have a nice evening. Daniel
  3. Good afternoon, Busy compiling a flow that has some dialogue. I wondered why the Pause statements were not accepted, until I found that they do work, but they are fired off at beginning of the preceeding Notify statement. When the FO Notify dialog takes 5 seconds and I wish to have 3 seconds until the next item, then the Pause statement should be 5+3 = 8. Is this how it is suposed to work? I first thought the statement after a Notify statement is ran when the Notify statement has fully completed; so after the FO is done speaking. It would make it quite a bit easier on me too as I do not have to time dialog etc. Looking forward to hear from you. Kind regards, Daniel
  4. Thank you Gerald and David, It is clear that I have to remain patient for now and that is OK, however I did read that competition is pretty close to releasing their version for this bird. No pressure! 🙂 The typo's were in my Excel sheet only, not in the script. I have seen many of your videos David. Thanks for doing those! Will watch the last one soon too. Just for fun I have looked at what part of this flow would work in the default for those knobs that do work. Here are the results. When these should actually all work, then pls kindly could you provide the right commands? 5. Hello Gerald, I am finally back to working on a realistic voxscript for the FBW A320 NEO. Today I have spent some hours to compile an overview of what does and what does not work. In below table I show commands given and the result. For the ones where the result was not "ok", pls can you help by providing the correct command for the action? Do I understand correctly that even if FBW did something that the switch won't move, MCE should still understand what I am trying to do? That would be a cue to understand where the problem originates. For lights, ideally the brightness should be relative to the amount of light from outside, but an increase some, increase medium, increase fully or maximum would be good to work with. I have added the complete PNF preliminary cockpit preparation procedure (excl APU), so battery and wipers are mentioned again. Appreciate the help already. Hope it was worth my time. 6. Today I have renamed the old folder to make it the active one again and MCE started just fine, so it seems the Voxkey profile was not the cause. To see if I could trigger the issue again, I have done clean install, then the wizard. MCE started just fine, but there were no longer any Voxscripts for the Asobo aircraft. I have found those files in the installation files, so I could copy them over, if I wanted to. Anyway, it is working again. Thanks again for the help. Daniel
  7. We renamed the MCE folder in documents, then have re-run the wizzard, then we started MSFS again, then we started MCE, which said it was already running. Then we killed MCE and then re-started MCE. It worked. Not sure what caused all this, but glad it works.. Thanks for the help!

  9. Thanks for the clarification as I do not know what makes the machine code change. I have run Windows Memory Diagnotic Tools last week a lot and PassMark Performance test today, but not while running the sim. No other apps than the ones normally are running, were running now too. Both files are present. 10. I have done a full un-install and re-install today PS: I tried it with a few planes as I thought FBW mod was causing it at first, but also happened with Asobo A320 and Cessna 172
  11. Hello there, MCE looks to start OK, but quits after initialization. Have done the wizard again, but no luck. No changes in anti-virus software etc. Connecting to FS: ok Wait for FO to Board the plane: OK Looking for changes to current plane: OK The UI interface disappeared at I believe this stage. It was just a blank screen Messsage MCE ready to go: OK 2 seconds later: Crew is leaving the plane - see you next time Today I have installed a new memory bank into my PC. Did that change the machine code? Hope you can help me. Regards, Daniel
  12. Sorry for slow response and thanks for sharing. One grumpy FO! He is definitely paying attention. Does he know where in the flight sim world he is? He could be a flight instructor if he brightens up a little 😊. When I say: "which button is this", and I then push it, is he then able to tell me which one it is? My project has slowed down a little... My rig broke down.
  13. Thanks for further feedback received. Will try the custom response. Today I have installed the latest stable version of the A32NX mod for my testing. Still at the beginning of the preliminary cockpit preparation steps: Wipers - FO can respond, but does not see them as a left and right set, he cannot move the knobs to a different position. My command: left wiper off (I put it in slow first to check) Battery - Seems he cannot push the buttons, he asked me to push them. My command: battery one auto This brings me back to my initial question, but I do understand that the functionality is not there currently and I am not blaming, just thinking out loud. Would it not be great if the user could twist a knob / push a button a few times and the FO would chime in asking if I am doing alright and can stop messing with the e.g. left wiper selector button etc. When he does recognize I am moving a knob and he does not know which one it is, it would be also great if he could say so, which would save the user then time as no further troubleshooting is needed. Brilliant would be if he would then ask if I think it would be a great idea to send an email to MCE support to report the issue, which he would do then of course with all required info. Anyway that is me always looking make things easier 🙂 Edit: For wipers/battery - same is true for the default Asobo A320
  14. Thank you both for your extensive responses Great to hear the flybywire A320 is fully supported. I did find and have read the AirbusA3xx document, but think I got confused by the knob being refered to in Sim as "engine one master". The phrases you mentioned are not listed in the mentioned PDF. The 9 found with the word "master" all seem to refer to the mode selector knob. The commands you provided do work (of course!) and thanks for the "translator" explanation. I would change to engine one master and engine two master. The FO refers to these switches as Fuel Lever Engine One. I hope the translator command will make him also refer to these the same way then. Will test.
  15. Good afternoon! I added a more generic topic, to limit the amount of topics to start. Hope that is OK. First off a big thanks to mr. Herky for the massive amount of procedures he already created for A320, which makes achhieving my goal a lot easier! I came acros those by accident while reading in this forum. Here is a link for those searching: https://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=msfs+neo&CatID=root&Go=Search Problem: The official Preliminary Cockpit Preparation procedure starts with Master 1,2...........Off. I have tried many things, but could not find if a command for this does exist or not and if it does, what the command would be. Question: Is there perhaps a (not documented) function where user can flip a switch / push a button in sim and ask FO if he has a command for it? or is there any other way for me - besides asking here - to find out if a command exists? Thanks, Daniel
  16. Thanks, Option 4 it will be then. FlyByWire says this on their discord, about why they ship as a livery: Where is the plane in-sim? The mod is an improvement of the default, so there isn't a second A320 model with the mod installed.
  17. Thank you very much Gerald, I think I have found out what causes this problem. FlyByWire are offering their A32NX mod as a 'livery' version of the default Asobo A320 Neo. This could meand that both are sharing the same flows. IfThen, as the mod is more advanced than the default, the flows for the default likely will not benefit from all the available functionality of the mod. As a user I would like to keep the flows for both versions separated. When this is indeed the problem, thinking about solutions, a few come to mind:: Ask FlyByWire to publish their A32NX as a separate aircraft. When this is possible at all, when more add-on creators do the same, the aircraft view in MSFS will become cluttered. Possibly MCE VoxScript could be extended with the option to keep flows separate based on livery for a certain aircraft. This would also enable different flows for different carriers for same aircraft type. Another option is if MCE VoxScript could have the option where the user, for a certain livery, chooses the folder where the to be used flows are stored. Lastly, the user could create subfolders for default and mod flows and copy these to the parent folder depending on which aircraft livery will be used. When you feel/know I am wrong and I still should do the factory reset, I will certainly do so. Thanks for a great program and support. Daniel
  18. Hi All, I recently bought MCE and have fun playing around with it. What I am working on is to create scripts for the FlyBWire A320NX mod. When I created my first flow and tried to see where it was stored, I found it in C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Multi Crew Experience\MyVoiceScripts\Copilot\Aircraft\All My intent was to create a folder for the plane myself, copy some already existing flows there and edit those to my liking. This does not work? With the "All" folder, I am afraight if I create flows for another plane later, it will also end up in the "All" folder, which will not help in housekeeping 🙂 How can I best accomplish what I am trying to do?
  19. Thanks all for the feedback. When using VOXATC all AI will be handled by it - in my setup - so none would be controlled by AIController then I guess. Guess I have to try and see how it goes. Would love if in future VOXATC-ish ATC would assign SID/STAR to AI based on conditions and route and then AIController would make them taxi out and fly it as assigned. Daniel
  20. Hi All, Have been following this thread/topic for a while and seems like a very nice piece of software. For ATC I am using VOXATC as it let's the FO do the talking and it auto assigns SIDS/STARS etc. I quite like it altogether. Does AIController work in combination with VOXATC or will they bite each other? If not yet, are there any plans to make them work together at some point? Thanks. Daniel
  21. Gents, I would like to thank you for the mods to this very nice aircraft and do request some help on the APU/GPU mod. [a bit later] I have realized I have used a saved flight for the tests. When I loaded a cessna, started it up shut it down, then loaded the metro it all worked just fine.. Daniel
  22. This is definately going to work. Thanks. 1) Would there be a way to set that after panning in a first view, then switching to a second view, then back to the first view, it will re-set the positions of the first view to original (e.f. captain face forward)? Did not see a switch for that in the docs or did not understand. 2) Is there an option in FSX that will display the current xyzpbh? regards, Daniel
  23. Thank you Roland, I will look at this and see if I can get it to work. rgds, Daniel
  24. Thanks for your reply Michael. The reason is 27 Euro. The NGX was the must have. When I can add the views for captain seat and FMC view - which I think is technically possible - then that satisfies my needs... for the time being. Hope someone will have the data to copy into aircraft.cfg for this.. rgds, Daniel
