  1. As a recent convert from FSX to FSX-SE, I didn't even relize there was a difference prior to installing FS2Crew.
  2. I'm having the same issue. I've installed the 1.0.19 (with and without hotfix B). I'm installing the SP3 version as Side by Side for FSX: Steam and FSX on Windows 10. Hoping to use the button version. I've removed and re-added the Q400, uninstalled and reinstalled the FS2Crew multiple times and no luck. Any tips would be appreciated. EDIT 1: If I install it in my original FSX folder, it installs, but doesn't work. EDIT 2: I finally got it to work by completing the following steps: Uninstalled FSX-SE. Modified Registry to move original FSX register path to FSX to FSX-SE. Re-installed FS2Crew Majestic Dash 8 Config Manager Side by Side Hope this helps someone in the future.
  3. I just need to work on my 757 flying so I can pass that check ride, but I only really want to get that as a segway to the Aerosoft A330 when that comes out.
  4. Of course I have noticed your posts of frustration on DVA's H2O Cooler and it sure is shame that you can't get a 767 to work for you. Personally if PMDG made a 767-300ER and 767-400, I'd be happy and would certainly conciser buying it, but I'd much rather see the 787 series first.
  5. Did anyone report this to Majestic yet?
  6. Okay, I just had a CTD (I've never had one before w/ the Majestic Q400) while trying to recreate what you did. Here is what I did: Load FSX (SP2) Load Q400 at KSEA (default runway, clear weather, etc.) Start FMS and wait for check, which is fine. Click FPL and enter KSEA in space 1, BKE in space 2 and click LIST. I was able to enter the V4 airway. I was looking for HOVEL by clicking NEXT and after about the 4th or 5th page, I got a CTD. Looks like a contact to Majestic is in order: http://majesticsoftware.com/mjc8q400/support.html Best, - Caleb
  7. Also new with this version, but a bit separate from it, is the availability of the patch in the User Area of Majestic's Support website so that registered users can download the patch directly from Majestic.
  8. From the Majestic FAQ: From http://forum.avsim.net/topic/407132-majestic-software-dash-8-question/:
  9. Congrats on your first week (now more like 3). I just wanted to comment on how clean and modern your site looks. It sets a good example for more VAs to follow. Best of luck (and happy flights when the PMDG 700-300ER is released).
  10. I've found that if I set up VNAV too far in advance, it won't take the TOD calculation and then display it correctly. I don't know if there is an official distance though.
  11. Does this require the LINDA software to be installed? Thanks in advance. - Caleb
  12. Hopefully the USA will be able to catch up this technology soon or we may be in trouble. I imagine Israel is shaking in their boots as well.
  13. Long time lurker, first time poster. The only reason I posted is to tell you, Kyle, that you are the most arrogant, insufferable and intolerant person I have had the please to come across on the internet (at least that posts with your real name). I cannot understand how you have the audacity to tell other people how they use a flight simulation product. Just because you can fly a Cessna around poduckville where you live, doesn't give you the right to make such broad character judgements about every topic that catches your fancy. Okay, so Ima PMDG User can't spend their $80 on the NGX or the 747X or 777 and they don't have the right to fly it they way they choose? Who made you God to lord over the rest of us without PPLs. The is the most true thing you could have said (emphasis mine). In the future, please take much one second to think about what you say and how others perceive. Hey, I can tell "it really doesn't effect" you, what others think that is. In regards to the PMDG 777, I hope that everyone is able to use it to exactly how they want, whether they want to pause every 5 minutes to check on their children, take a bath, work on another project, etc. (and perish the though, take a nap or sleep through cruise, or I believe use accelerated time, which may be against your religion or something based on your reactions else where) or you never pause and complete the full flight in real time using every single checklist option and work flow from turning on the battery to locking the cabin door on the way out. PMDG staff: keep up the good work.
