Guys, don't fly the airplane with the trim. Use the controls to put the airplane where you want it, and relieve control pressure with the trim. There is no need to trim for a specific airspeed. MAKE the plane do what you want, and if it takes a lot of back pressure to keep it there, trim up a bit, and vice versa. This is true for all airplanes whether they're FBW or not. Everyone in this thread is making it seem way more complicated than it actually is.

Not a bug, but I can't find any documentation on this so I'll ask here. Yesterday I took off from KSAN using normal procedures, and about 60 seconds after takeoff I got a fire bell and the WHEEL WELL annunciator behind the throttles lit up red. What could have possibly caused this? I'm fairly certain the parking brakes were off when I hit the TO/GA button and I do not have any random failures enabled in the FMC. Thanks.

I love FSX, but I fly in the real world, so when I play Flight Simulator I'm not always looking to do things exactly the same way I would in real life. Sometimes I want to fly dangerously - low altitude aerobatics, formation flying with other players, flying upside down 5 feet off the runway at 200 knots, flying through mountain passes in a 737, etcetera...but I'm definitely not allowed to do that on VATSIM, and I've been unable to find any servers who offer anything but the "realistic w/ ATC experience". So does anybody know of any "just for fun" servers out there?
