INSERTING RWY DIST ON THE FMC
I am having issues entering an intersection take off also. The FMC is not accepting a taxiway being entered after the runway, ie 25R/F. Anyone else having this issue? FCOM seems to say it should be OK. Cheers, Shane.

Electronic Checklist Options
Boeing has made amendments to its generic checklists, would be good if these could be incorporated into the program also. Cheers, Shane H

ETOPS Airports in the FMC
I fly EDTO/ETOPS all the time and have never been trained to used RTE 2 in such a fashion. RTE 2 should be a copy of RTE 1. From the Honeywell manual: "The route copy function permits the pilot to copy the active flight plan into the alternate route, in this case, RTE 2. When this is done, changes can be made to a copy of the active route, or the active route can be preserved before making a major modification" We do use the fix pages for the ETP. Putting the alternates into the fix pages is good for situational awareness but not necessary as it's all a planning exercise for preflight. Manually entering the alternates into ALTN page is a great idea.

Problem with 777 Worldliner installation
I am current on the aircraft but totally new to the iMac and X-Plane. I thought it would be a good training tool, no comment on what I think is harder to work with! I had a whole lot of trouble with the aircraft key. I finally managed to figure out how to copy it and change the B777 folder to read and write so I could put the key in the worldliner folder. I am still unable to operate the 777, it just sits there cold and i cannot select anything. What am I doing wrong?
