Prepar3d 2.0 default scenery?
I told no lies, I said it was speculation at the outset and I'm never afraid to admit to being wrong. I certainly wouldn't spend a whole heap of cash buying into it unless it was a 64bit version. DX11 wouldn't be enough to warrant a move but that again is just my position.

Prepar3d 2.0 default scenery?
From John Venema himself; "There is no truth in these rumours. Orbx has not been approached by LM to license any of our tech for their platform. That is a fact. Whilst I am in regular contact with LM it is mainly discussion around P3D 1.x and 2.x alpha/beta progress and nothing I can discuss in public anyway." In a way I'm disappointed as a sim with Orbx FTXG quality scenery out of the box would have been a joy to behold. Guess there's nothing for it but shell out for both in their turn!

What makes you say that?

Prepar3d 2.0 default scenery?
Absolutely! It is speculation based on opinion, I don't deny that at all. It's an interesting thought though don't you think?

I think there's a possibility that we are starting to see Prepar3d 2.0 default scenery. Read more about it here!

Carenado possible larger Aircraft?
I know they are making a Beech 1900D at the minute so maybe they are starting to look in the direction of bigger turboprops. I hope so! There are only so many small props they can do and it seems like they might have done them all by no.

To ENB, or Not to ENB?
I use Shade for FSX and have never had any CTD's or anything. It just runs and does what it should do. You could tweak it to your hearts content very easily but tbh I've never found the need to. Worth the few bucks imo.

A good server for a new guy
http://flightsimulationnation.com Have a look and see what you think. Regular events on their own server using the same technology as Vatsim but without the rules, if you know up from down your qualified to fly with them. More about the social interaction and a bit of fun than anything else.

The ideal system today for XP-10
It seem that XP will consume all the graphics card memory that you can throw at it. I'm currently torn between a faster card with less memory or a slightly slower one with more memory onboard. A mate of mine got one of the recent GTX line from nVidia and reckons he should have opted for the, albeit more expensive, one with greater memory not having seen much of a gain going from a 1Gig DDR3 to a 2Gig DDR5. I think I'll go for a 3 or 4Gig card. A good tip is to resize your XP window and see does frame rate improve. If it does then you are card limited but not CPU limited.
