  1. This module has been developed for use with the Fenix Airbus A3200 running on MSFS 2020. The module requires use with LINDA 4.1.4 and FSUIPC7 7.3.6 or later. See Note below on Lvars. Due to delays with MSFS exposing Lvars to FSUIPC7 on start-up, it is strongly recommended that you start MSFS2020, load the Fenix A320 ready to fly and wait a minute before starting FSUIPC7 and LINDA. It is also recommended to click Restart LUA Engine as the last thing. A full list of functions is provided via the link below. Default configuration setup files are provided for all VRi MCP panels and CDU2/3. However, no testing has been possible on the MCP1 (Original) panel and no guarantees can be given. Version 0.3 beta provides most important functions for operation of the aircraft. Some function names have changed for consistency. This version provides the following improvements: Removed Fuel MODE SET from Fuel Pump ALL functions Added Side Stick AP Disconnect button functions Added Throttle ATHR Disconnect button functions Fixed EXT PWR OFF function Fixed Master Warning and Caution functions Added limited VRI FCU ALT display Added FO EFIS functions Added Weather Radar functions Added multiple functions for BAT, EXTPWR, ADIRS, AICE, HYD, BLEED, PACK, Radio Power, BRAKE FAN, XPDR and ECAM Fixed duplicate ENG1 Anti-Ice functions Renamed APU Bleed functions Added ENG1 and ENG2 Bleed functions Added PACK1 and PACK2 functions Added HOT AIR functions Added HYD PUMP Button functions Reduced VRI FCU Knob fast sensitivity Fixed Pedestal Flood All dec function Fixed Autobrake functionality Due to limitations in the available interface it is not possible for the VRI FCU Speed, Heading or Vertical Speed to be displayed; the Altitude provides limited synchronous display provided Alt Step left on 1000ft. The FCU Knobs are not animated but functions are provided for rotation, push and pull. The module makes use of a number of extra features provided by FSUIPC7 including WAPI/WASM. These features allow LINDA to access the Lvars and offsets as well Hvar and .EVT events. Users will need to make several changes to their set up to fully exploit these features. Edit FSUIPC-WASM.INI to add the entry LvarScanDelay=x where x is 45 or 60. See FSUIPC7 Advanced User document pg 45. Edit FSUIPC7.INI to add the entry UseAirLocForProfiles=Yes under the [General] block. Ensure block [WAPI] / EnableWAPI=Yes is present in FSUIPC7.INI. The Fenix A320 should display around 2100 and 2200 Lvars and no Hvars. A problem with Lvars will display a Check Lvars message. Any value different from these or the warning will require that MSFS and FSUIPC7/LINDA be restarted. Report any problems and issues on the LINDA Support sub-forum. Download Fenix A320 v0.3 beta SSL List of Fenix A320 Functions NOTE ON LVARS The Fenix A320 is a complex aircraft with a large number of Lvars provided. These exceed the previous version of FSUIPC7 (limit 2044). It is recommended that you use 7.3.6.
  2. Ok, so I have the wilco e-jets package among other payware and I just got the new airac from Navigraph. The problem is that I can't seem to be able to install it or even find the folder to manually install it into. I noticed that it may not be supported anymore, however since related add-ons that came out at the same time are still supported shouldn't it work? Has anyone else had this issue with the ERJs and AIRACS?

  4. We are planning to launch a new Virtual Airline in the Caribbean. At this moment we are brainstorming on what the community wants. The community is YOU. So come over to our forum and share your thoughts. Registration to the forum is free and not an application for the VA. Some points we are discussing about: - What should be the name of the VA - Which ACARS system should we use - Which software for the website - Which aircrafts should be in the fleet - Should we use a ranking and/or financial module - And many other questions that will rises So join the conversation to build a VA, for the community and by the community.
  5. Hey Everybody I'm Luke  Just thought i would upload a few random shots i took a few days ago. I am brand new to these forums, not brand new to the simming world so have heard of Avsim.com before but as i didn't have a decent enough rig to run FSX or P3D i didn't bother signing up lol. So anyways here we go. Thanks guys and gals hope you enjoyed.
  6. Hi, I am wondering how you guys keep track of software updates. I have missed many important updates for the Lionheart Quest Kodiak, REX Overdrive & Essentials, Aerosoft A320/A321, Ezdok and much more. Most of the time I don't even know that there is an update. I keep a list of addons and would frequently google ______ update from the time I realised that there was an update for REX that came out 6 months ago. Most of the time I would google the updates but most of them just don't show up such as the Lionheart Quest Kodiak and the Aerosoft A320/A321. The only way I found out about was when I changed computer and when I saw a FroogleSIm video about the new Aerosoft update. I was lucky enough to get emailed about updates such as the new FSPassengerX 2015. I do source around in forums but most of them have many sub forums that are tricky to navigate and I don't want to post a new topic every now and then asking whether there is an update So my question is how do you guys keep track of your updates? It would be a waste of money if I don't know about new updates (such as the Ezdok 1.17 and 1.18.5 update, which I had no idea abut until I watched a video by Matt Davies) Thanks, Aaron.
  7. We have introduced a new feature today that allows you to embed Google Docs (Doc, Spread Sheets, Presentations) into your AVSIM forum postings. Here is an example using the AVSIM Terms of Service. See below for more detail on how to use this feature. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qk5SbmiSOVAsGjDlP3z8OxSZxnBa4SvFHh6tBmGS28A/pub To accomplish, publish your document so that it is public and then copy and paste the URL to that document, spreadsheet or presentation here. The URL used for the above TOS example looks like this: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qk5SbmiSOVAsGjDlP3z8OxSZxnBa4SvFHh6tBmGS28A/pub That's all there is to it! Enjoy!
  8. I heard that gamespy is down, so there aren't any lobbys anymore so i have to know the direct IP. So how do i connect without gamespy? (i know this is VERY old news but i haven't got on FSX for months) So is there any server that would take me under their wing? (pun intended) I would like to find a server where i can fly aircraft preferably in a group. Any tips? (i don't currently have a mic but i will be getting one ASAP)
  9. It gives me great pleasure to announce to you that Kim Stolt has been promoted to Chief Pilot and EVP of Training in addition to his other duties effective September 15. Kim flies jets for a living and is an FAA certified flight instructor. He has over 8,000 hours of flight time at WestWind. He has been involved in leadership at WestWind longer than I can remember. He is one of only a handful of pilots at WW that I consider to be qualified for this job. This promotion has been in the works for a few months, but we wanted to give Kim some time with his family over the summer months before taking on new responsibilities. Kim, replaces Ed Ward, Jr. who had held the position since the early days of the airline. A few months ago, Ed decided it was time to retire. Ed did a superb job for WestWind and he will be missed. He will forever be remembered as one of the pioneers of the airline. Please help me welcome Kim as he takes us into the next chapter of the airline. Mike Gibbs President (Posted 9/14/2013)
  10. Because I got my new Haswell based computer set up! Under the hood this beast of a computer has 4670k overclocked to 4.2GHz (will need to delid for further OC) and a GTX780! X-plane runs beastly with max settings with HDR on, very much +30 fps except for heavy weather, clouds still very tough for framerates! But i don't mind Of course i gotta show off, so here's some pics around Helsinki with Truscenery free orthophoto and OSM data version 1.2 Now, I'm off to fly! :p0502:
  11. PMDG Pilots, With the upcomming, and HIGHLY anticipated DC6 comming out from PMDG. Golden Era Virtual would like to extend an offer to those profesional pilots who want to fly it together! What this means for PMDG Pilots: When the PMDG DC6 is released we will be adding it to our fleet instantly. We will also be including a section in our forum for story swapping on your adventures with this aircraft. We will also be looking for top of the line pilots to provide support to help newer pilots with learning this beauty of the skies. A little GEV background: Golden Era Virtual has only been around a short time. Golden Era Virtual was founded on December 23rd 2012, and went active Janurary 1st 2013. In this short amount of time, we have accumulated over 10 pilots from across the world. The virtual airline was created from scratch with a vision of more then just flying the big jumbo jets. GEV's fleet consists propliners only. We are a VATSIM only VA, that uses the VAFS5 client to run our ACARS. With this system our pilots fly for more then just hours, they fly for virtual currency as well. GEV is like no other virtual airline, in that we mean, real life comes first. We dont force activity on our pilots, or expect/demand rediculusly long flights to sustain a position within the VA. Our doors are open to all pilots interested in flying with us. Our number one belief is that within the flying world we are all family. Thats how we treat our pilots! Fleet: *3x Boeing 377 Stratocruiser *3x Beech Model 18 *3x Douglas DC-3 *3x Lockheed Constellation L-049 *3x SAAB 90 Scandia Hubs: KLGA - LaGuardia International: 1x Beech Model 18, 1x Douglas DC-3, 3x Boeing 377 Stratocruiser KMEM - Memphis International: 1x Beech Model 18, 1x Douglas DC-3, 3x Lockheed Constellation L-049 KTPA - Tampa International: 1x Beech Model 18, 1x Douglas DC-3, 3x SAAB 90 Scandia Where to find us: If you are interested, or looking for more information about us. 12. Hi!I want to buy me a new computer for FSX. It should have about 25 FPS with the PMDG 737NGX at very big airports like Schiphol, ...What do you think is better, Intel Core i5 or i7 (I maybe also want to overclock it)? What graphics would you use? (I thought of a GTX 560)Would be nice, if you had some tips.CheersDavid
  13. Hello when i'm in the cockpit i can't create a new view after pressing the green arrow. i am currently running v0.2.7 Alpha Experimental.
  14. Hello, im looking into upgrading my hardware, and while id like to think I know a lot about computers the choice of processors never fails to baffle me. Right now I have 2 processors in mind. - AMD FX-4350 4.20 GHz Quad-Core AM3+ CPU 4MB L3 Cache & Turbo Core Technology - Intel® Core™ i7-3820 Quad Core 3.60 GHz 10MB Intel Smart Cache LGA2011 The AMD looks better with the with the 4.2 GHz, but I know that a higher clock speed doesn't always mean better performance. The AMD is cheaper, but I don't want to sacrifice performance for it if the intel would be better. So which processor would be best for running Fsx? Other specs: 16 GB of Ram Nvidia 660 GTX 2GB video card Thank you.

  17. Hi there, I have just set up a new VA called Rikzo Virtual, a classic low cost European airline operating out of smaller airports like London City. Its not ready yet, so I was looking for anyone wanting to become a staff member, or even just become a pilot and help out with the site and the VA, all help is appreciated. I don't mind who, any age or experience. Or if anyone just wants to offer any advice, I would be glad to hear. The website is rikzovirtual.com (obviously the website is very new and bad!) Thanks in advance, Charlie
  18. Hello everyone, my name is Matthew Smith and currently I have the opportunity to start up something for the community. This could be a Virtual Airline, flying club, etc... It will be really good as it will have a good and easy to use website, detailed briefing system, detailed tracking and much much more. I need your help to tell me what you would like to see in the community. So far I have come up with a few of my own ideas for what this could be; A virtual British Airways, however it will be different from the others as you will not have to take an entry exam and the minimum age would be 13+ (as of vatsim and IVAO regulations), SWISS virtual, this will be a free one to join and will still offer unique features as stated above, finally a Virgin Atlantic virtual. Please reply to this topic if you like any of the ideas stated above. I am also open to other ideas that you would like to see so if you would like to see something else, please reply to this topic below. Remember: This will be build for and around you because after all your ideas are incredibly important to me and i'd love to hear your thoughts, Thanks.
  19. I´m building a new system for work (stock exchange) and need a real fast processor for data analysis.... I also want to play FSX with PMDG and other add-ons. Processor i7 -4790k ou 6700k. (I need a i7 for my work, and it´s also good for fsx) Memory: 16gb DDR3L (2x8gb) (ddr4 is very expensive and hard to find yet in my country, I need 16gb) Monitor: I´m thinking about a LG 29" 2560 x 1080 FHD (Ultra Wide), as it would help a lot with my work and looks good in FSX. I´ll use a 850evo SSD as main drive and a 2gb HDD for data. Questions: 1) What would be the best processor ? 4790k ou 6700k ? I´m afraid of skylake bugs (like the prime95), but 4790k is getting old every day, and it also should run a little hotter. Would the K series add a lot in FSX ? or a 4790/6700 would be enough ?? What do you guys suggest ? 2) I won´t play games except FSX, so what GPU should I buy ? 750TI ? GTX 950 ? GTX960 ? GTX970 ? I don´t need it to be perfect, just looks good and good fps... But I probably will need to play it at 2560x1080, so.... what is the recommend card for this resolution in FSX/PMDG ? Thanks !!
  20. So after flying on FSX for the past few years, I've decided to update my tank of a laptop and invest in a new Desktop to run P3D. So far I've roughly built up these specs, trying to keep in mind that i don't want to spend to much and also get the best for the buck. Intel Core i7-4790K @4.0Ghz ASUS Z97-A EVGA GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0 Corsair 750D Western Digital Blue 1 TB HDD Samsung 850 EVO 120GB SSD Kingston 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 Mem. Asus 24x DVD-RW Serial-ATA Internal OEM Optical Drive Corsair H80i Hydro CPU cooler With these specs in mind I stumble to find a cheap Power supply that gives me at least 750W. I'd like to have everyone opinions on computer parts you recommend and what power supply would be best for me. Thanks you!

  22. Hey Guys, I need some advice and help on a new computer build to run FSX: SE on maximum graphics or close to it. 23. Requirement: # 1440p single display # DCS 2.5 # X-Plane11 Considering the following build although I might wait for prices of the 2600X and X470 boards to come down a bit (... as for RAM - we live in hope!): # CPU Ryzen 5 2600X (not planning to OC since gains seem marginal) # M/B Asus Prime X470-Pro # RAM Corsair LPX 32GB (2X16) DDR4-3200 # GPU GTX1070 under £400 or GTX1080 under £500 ??? # Display 27" 60Hz or 32" LED TV ??? # SSD Samsung 860 Evo 500GB (OS + sims) # PSU Corsair RM750x or reuse 6+ yo 850W PSU ??? # Case reuse Cooler Master CM690II ??? All thoughts on this welcome, particularly interested in getting the right GPU for this build. Space limitations mean multi-monitor probably a no no, waiting for next gen VR.
