  1. C'mon Steve, you know you blushed when he thanked you for your contributing your beautiful tail.. :) That's Steve for you - gives you everything he's got.. :)
  2. I realized the "Ruhr" mistake after I posted it. Kind of an homage to Kennedy declaring that he was a jelly donut in Berlin.. :) -Tschüss!
  3. Fantastic repaint of Lufthansa's 747-430M, D-ABTB "Brandenburg" by the one and only Steve Drabek. I'm a little partial to this particular aircraft. Enjoy!
  4. Steve, you've done it again. A great repaint, sure, but forcing me to spill my secrets.. I'm still convinced that if I ever go to Berlin, I could get into "my" gate for free. I think it's only reasonable to expect the same from LH. I'd even sign my name on the plane.. I've got the PMDG 744, so I'd be happy to give her a spot check. Thanks for working one one that I'm partial to. Now when PMDG releases the 747-8i..you know what to do.. -S.
  5. Looks great as always - good to see you had some ektachrome film left.. :)
  6. Outstanding as always! One piece of trivia, and one correction. I know, how dare I.. 1. D-ABVW, "Wolfsburg", is a nice touch by LH, as tail "VW" is named after Volkswagen's headquarter city. Let's hope Lufthansa's VW passes emissions without cheating. And to date, it's the only LH 747 I've flown on.. 2. D-ABVO, "Mülheim an der Rühr". Aircraft has a typo, "Müelheim..." FYI, that's the equivalent of spelling it "Mueelheim". The little dots are called "umlauts", and it basically is an abbreviated e after a vowel. Great job on the paints. Or should I say "ausgezeichnet"! -S.
  7. Fantastic, outstanding work! Fingers crossed that one of "my" 747s will be represented.. D-ABTB - 747-430, "Brandenburg" D-ABYA - 747-8i, "Brandenburg" Yes, I'm selfish. -Scott Brandenburg. PS - interesting bit of trivia.. the ">" in "Canadi>n" had a twofold purpose. First, it was the logo for Canadian Pacific. Second, the airline didn't want to go through the trouble of offending French Canadians by using the English spelling: (Canadian vs. Canadien). So they subbed the logo in..
