I wonder what they would've found if they'd controlled for how many male vs. female participants have used a flight sim!

Hi! I got the Virtualcol Dornier 328 when it was free (I think it was one of the Stay Home giveaways last spring), and I lost the manual so I can't start it up. Ctrl+E doesn't seem to work. I know it's not freeware at this time, but can anyone help me?

I just discovered what appears to be the exact same problem on Rikoooo's FSX-native conversion of the POSKY CRJ-200 multi-livery pack. Seems to be a recurring problem.

Interesting differences, but I doubt they're the problem; if they were, the plane would show up on the list again when I delete entry #43 entirely. Besides, the parking types should only affect which types of parking the default ATC will instruct me to taxi to, and the ui_createdby should only affect the drop-down filter for publisher in the "select aircraft" dialog box. I can try those things, though.

Yes; I mark them all as "all." Sometimes I set the manufacturer one (the one that filters by the "ui_manufacturer" line in Aircraft.cfg) to "Bombardier" just to make sure, but I've tested it with "all" and it doesn't show up that way either. I've emailed Rikoooo with this question, but I don't know how long they'll take to get back to me.

I just tried that, and unfortunately it did not work. I think the two clues that there's something weird going on are 1) that any repaint that I try to install causes this problem, not just this one, and 2) the problem doesn't go away when I uninstall the repaint unless I actually reinstall the plane itself using Rikoooo's installer (though I would rather install planes manually, they just don't provide that option).

Here's the [fltsim.x] section of the Aircraft.cfg. I changed nothing in the rest of the file, and only added the last entry to this part. Please let me know if you'd like to see the rest of the file. Keep in mind, ALL of these repaints were showing up and working properly before I manually installed this one; now NONE of them do, and the plane itself doesn't show up on my list. Note that if I remove the last fltsim.x entry and delete the repaint folder, the plane doesn't start showing up on my list again until I completely reinstall it. I have installed the FSX-native conversion of the Dreamwings Dash-8 (multi-livery pack) from Rikoooo. My problem is that every time I try to manually install an additional livery for it, it stops displaying in my aircraft list (i.e. it AND all other repaints of the same model vanish from the "Select Aircraft" list). When I delete the repaint folder and the Fltsim.x entry, they don't reappear, and I have to reinstall the entire plane to get it back. Does anyone know what could be happening, and why?

I'm wondering if one of the addons I've installed recently has changed my registry so that the Virtualcol installer doesn't recognize it. It's still just giving me that same message.

I've downloaded today's giveaway (the Virtualcol Do328), and whenever I try to install it, it says, "ERROR: There are no supported platforms installed or their Windows Registry information is absent. Setup will exit." The problem is, I have FSX installed and it's not giving me the chance to select its location. Is there any fix for this?

Hi! I know I asked about the Air Canada repaint before, but would anyone mind doing a straight-up EVAS repaint of the Beech 1900D by Premier Aircraft Design? I tend to fly around Eastern Canada on Monday afternoons (Moncton Monday on Vatsim, you know...) and it appears that a lot of the regional routes throughout that area are operated by Exploits Valley Air Service with B1900s. While I certainly wouldn't mind having a repaint of the Air Canada Express livery--and would use it if I had it--it appears from my limited information that they are moving in favor of the EVAS livery shown here: https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/c-gorz

Thanks! But that one only has the really old SAS livery, not the one with the blue tail, and it has the old-style gauges since it's a much older version of the ATR. I know the SAS repaint of the Virtualcol is out there, since it was part of the payware package, but I'm not sure whether it was released with the rest of the plane, as I'm sure was intended.
