Help Selecting A Rex Product
Hi all, at the moment I'm an owner of REX Texture direct. I've seen many videos withing FSX where REX Essentials + Overdrive is installed. Through my observations I've noticed that the cloud textures are much more detailed. I'd like to know your opinions on this! I know I should be reading over my self but I'd like to know if my theory is true, and I'd like to know what Overdrive does. I'd like to know if REX Essentials + Overdrive is an overall better deal than Texture Direct. If anyone could please compare/contrast about these two programs I'd appreciate it! Thanks.\ edit: ( I think this thread is posted in the wrong area, if it is please move it)

Where Is Your 777 Now?
In Dropbox, when you click on the little chain where you share, once on the share screen on the top right, right click and then copy link address. Then, in the forum's reply post editor, open the Special BBCode dialog and select "Float img" where it says align, type in "left" or "right" and then paste the link address.

Guess the meaning of this screen and win a prize!
Well, I'm late but it's the aircraft thumbnail for the FSX aircraft selection menu?

Guess the meaning of this screen and win a prize!
Since I'm already a check airman, I'd say what I think but I'm afraid I'd get it right, and cost somebody a chance. Steve, I'd like your express consent to say what I think, but then again I'd probably get it wrong (or right?).

X-Plane type autogen for FSX
I'd like to know if there is a software for FSX that replaces the flat ground imaging and the default FSX autogen to the 3D like buildings and roads of X-Plane. Any software similar to this, I'd like to hear about it! Thanks.

Steam X-Plane debacle
Surely a simulation software as real as X-Plane is, some people would just get stressed out trying to figure out how to fly the plane. But those that really are curious and want to learn, they'd benefit. Either way, I don't see how X-Plane on Steam is a negative.

Steam X-Plane debacle
Whatever the case, any flightsim that is released, in this scenario, where it would otherwise not fit (like steam), I believe - can spread the word about flight simulation, better said, introduce this category of software onto others that may not know much or anything about this. As a few have already mentioned, most users on steam are gamers looking for point and click games, most commonly, first person games, and pretty much any (if not every) flight simulation software is far from that. Looking around in the simulations library of Steam, many of the 'simulation games' there, aren't based on realworld, unlike X-Plane. I don't know how X-Plane will do, but overall it seems this is not a bad opportunity for flight simulation software.

Where Is Your 777 Now?
I've noticed taking some screens, if you take a look at the side view of Steve's FedEx livery, the Pitot Tubes kinda form a smile. Useless, but it's an observation, hehe.

NVidia Inspector tweaks for FSX... Does it work for you?
Dickens replied to Joe Flyer2's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcI've noticed that when I change settings (in FSX) no matter how low or how high, my FPS stays between the same area. Now, I've used Nvidia Inspector to buff my anti-aliasing settings to 32x, still no performance drop. The only thing I've noticed that would drop my FPS is any addon software, such as airports or aircraft. Now, I've used this tool and inserted my CFG and I did notice a performance lift. Re-check your Nvidia Inspector settings.. Maybe you can find what is causing the drop.

I have the shot from the first set of images I've ever captured and posted onto Avsim. This shows just how much factors come into play with screenshotting. One that really matters would be zoom With .30 zoom: With adjusted zoom:
