£80 - £100 for the latest addons this is too expensive why the expensive price anyone else agree ?

as a test using the default carenado A36 Bonaza I selected stormy weather then changed weather to maximum turbulance then flying a desired heading at 1000 AGL this baby swings and rolls about just like a real plane :smile: needing constant aileron corrections to maintain a straight and level course watching some clips of how a real a light aircraft swings about on approach to me it looks exactly the same in P3D v3 as these real vids amazing !!!!!!!!

Anyone looking to buy prepar 3d v3 for its massive graphics improvements will be in for a real treat Now Aircraft fly and handle very realisticly PS looking forward to buy some new addons that have been modelled using wind tunnel data etc so they fly as good as the new milviz t38 which I think is spot on note prepar 3d v3 flys and handles much better than p3d v2.4 !!!!!!!!!! to see the new flight dynamics in prepar 3d v3 temporaly turn all graphics setting turn down to minimum run at 1024 x768 full screen mode and you will see instantly the new core flight dynamics changes when compared to fsx so you know whats going in the background when graphics options are turned upto max

1st & 2nd pics are showing the velocity trail behind as it edges forward into wind at 1 m/s during the harrier manouver and 3rd pic ............ showing how a low pressure bubble forms above the wings

If you download and install the elite ifr pilot / jet demo then run it whilst the program is running it disables enable desktop composition !!! in windows 7 ----------------------- option found here control panel - system and security advanced system setting - advanced tab - settings visual effects tab / custom ------------------------ is this allowed ?? for a program to disable an import feature like this?? the tick box option (enable desktop composition) only returns once you reboot So currently Elite IFR program only works in full screen Im guessing they have done it on purpose to stop people making extra dragable windows out of there full screen only sim like this one window resised and draged onto a separite monitor for the panel and another replicated window for the upfront forward display (using ontop window replicator program) hense you could create a Elite IFR home cockpit from doing this !!

didnt realise this would caUSE SUCH A BIG discussion ?? I still have recieved any contact from the software developer 3 - 4 weeks now so would have to assume that hes not activily running the software anymore i think the blog page and the mainweb site shouldnt be there aswell but theres also some good freeware stuff there as well so maybe just take off the fsgoogleearth view program and links accosiated to it definaly not the software developer just to add i really didnt want anyone to go and try to buy the software as of this date just wanted to ask if anyone previously had bought the software and is currently using it with there sent payed for reg key

hello Jim I was actually asking only asking if anyone had previously bought the software as i believe the trail version is avalible in the avsim libary somewhere so maybe somepeople had downloaded it and decided to buy it ?? NB Wasnt trying to ask other members to try to purchase the product inorder to see if they are more successful just to let you know thanks Also Jim if you search in the avsim file libary fsgoogleearthview in the description the links are their aswell !! is that method allowed ???

hello every one I was thinking it would be nice to know about all soon to be released fsx addons for 2015 - 2016 and what to save up for ive alway got some cash spare but there dosnt seem to be many new addons realased regularly is that because they have a long lead time to produce ??? IE quality not quantiy

After the google earth plugin web based api stops working this august 2015 ( Google earths offical web api depreciation ) this program has the possiblitly to keep on going !!! as you fly google earth program v7.0 directly ( not web plugin) allowing you to still have that lovely 3d imagery displaying on your favourite sim at quite a high frame rate aswell 20 - 30fps but for now i have to say GEVIEW is still the best as it actually " does what it say on the tin"

Important update about helicopter flight model I found out what was causing the heli nose to pitch up strangly in the sim when kicking in full right or left rudder from forward flight in the joystick options I had roll mix set to 2.0 ( this must have been causing the nose to pitch up ) joystick options reduced roll mix to 0.0 and set sensitiy to 2.0 set expo 0.0 and now the helicopter flys perfectly !! please forget my first post about this as it was incorrect and the flight model for the helicopter is perfectly good afterall !!! Just tried out that majestic q400 it got a nice flight model :rolleyes: It performs nice banks with lots of control input required to start the roll then lots of control input to stop the roll this seems to be in line with what you see from cockpit films of pilots controling 737 etc on final approach constantly moving the yoke left and right and forward and backward so thumbs up to majestic for this one P.S would like to see more payware aircraft like this implementing this sort of approach using an external flight model /program for the aircraft handling

can anyone confirm the flight dynamics of p3d are better than fsx ??? as i havent tried p3d as yet and only seen side by side videos of fsx / p3d and they look the same

I was just thinking of the most low cost way to get an FAA approved flight model into p3d as i remember xplane used to claim there simulator got FAA approval for training also if there was a web brouser based GEVIEW for xplane that would be amazing !!! but i think this would be upto Robbie to decide if he wanted to do this for xplane users

p3d set to maximum for nice scenery graphics then xplane could be set to low minimum settings and just have the panel running on a sepasrote screen so as to save cpu power also computer hardware developments will catch up and so running p3d and xplane on the same machine will be feasable in a few years time

ok i like tonywob idea of an external sim / program not nesasarily xplane driving p3d as a scenery generator i asked this because i think Elite IFR have done just this as there helicopter sims show p3d graphics but they must also be using there own IFR program linked to p3d to provide the flight model for accuracy there sims cost about 20000 + but it would be nice to see an option for the home user oh just remembered something regarding xplane 10 outputing data you can send xplane flight data out to a google earth view plugin called xplage however google earth was limited to update 1 every sec i wonder if you could output xplane flight data into simconnet /FSXHLA.exe ive seen it done for flight gear to FSX but could get a response for the video creator on how to set it up

hello dont know if this would be possible but id like to use prepar 3d as an image generator for scernery and use xplane for flight dynamics using an external program linked to xplane 11 driving prepar 3d i think many other people would be interested in this feature as well any plans for this sort of feature ?? thanks
