  1. Hi Zoran, With the last fix, it is a lot better, but I find the texture sharpening very slow. it looks like texture popup when they suddendly get crisp. So my question is how did you revert to the old system ? I would like to be sure. Do you get rid of the new FTX Central by just installing old ORBXLIB ? Did you reinstall all the textures (FTX GLOBAL) As the problem seems to be in relation with the new LCLOOKUP, do I have to reinstall ORBX Landclass. It is very difficult to understand the interaction... In fact ist is very blurry for me  Thank in advance for your help. Cheers Claude
  2. I have a standard PC (4790K 4.7ghz, 780GTX) dedicated to P3D, with only ORBX products and OPUSFSI installed, and since 1.5 month with the fatal migration it is a blurry festival. I supposed that too, I am not so sure now. It is very difficult to have information of what's going on, and the fact that they did not even imagine a rollback procedure is also incompréhensible. it looks like a beginner's mistake. Cheers Claude
  3. It's me  I never had problem using it with FSX or FSXSE, but with my configuration, it doesn't work with P3D. Who knows why ? But I know that flightsim is not an exact science. This afternoon I tried several situations with the different limiters, and for my config it is RadeonPro which give me the smoothest experience in turn and panning. Cheers Claude
  4. Hello, It seems that nobody experiences the same behavior with the limiters. For me when using the 737NGX, whithout a limiter, I am always between 30 and 40 FPS, when using the internal limiter to 33 as recommended, then the FPS dropped down to around 27. So I have stutters. I think it works when basically you use a plane that doesn't eat a lot of CPU, and your FPS is around 60. Why the NVI limiter works in FSX but not in P3D (in my config W7 780GTX), that' a mystery for me. I never tried DXTory, because I thought it was not working in Fullscreen. I will try. Thanks you all for your advice. Best regard Claude
  5. Hi Sethos1988, Thank you very much for your quick answer. I tested in the past the RivaTuner Statistics Server. I have just now made a new test with P3DV3, and yes it is very good. The only problem is I am not able to have the FPS displayed on the screen if MSIAfterburner is not launched. In the past I could not find the standalone version on the web. Have you an idea where I can find it. Thanks Claude
  6. Bonjour, P3D V3.3 GTX780 The only way to get rid of microstutter particulary when panning around as I do not have a 30hz capable monitor is to use RadeonPro to limit FPS. In NVI the framerate limiter doesn't work and I do not undestand why. I cannot use the internal limiter as it seems to be bugged. Example: 1 Situation LFPO on ground, 737NGX, with the internal frame rate limiter set to unlimited my FPS is 40. 2 If I set the internal limiter to 60 then the FPS drop down to 28 ! Strange, One would expect that it remains to 40... But no. Is there a logical explanation to that behavior? Does anybody know a solution other than a 30hz monitor or RadeonPro tool to limit the framerate. Thanks Best regards Claude
  7. Yes it was in stepped mode. I did not remember that I left it like that after creating some camera view using LLC. Now everything is smooth. Sorry... May be to have a reminder in the shortcut control dialog one day.... Cheers Claude
  8. I perfectly understand the problem with P3D. One thing is the transition between camera is very smooth. I only have the problem when using the shortcuts in live camera controls using a button or a key. Certainly the process is different in this case Claude PS I do not have P3D V2 to compare
  9. Sorry but I install the new version, then copy the dll in the module folder, and I see no change at all. Even with the stock piper plane the motion is jerky... not so smooth than with FSXSE. Cheers Claude
  10. Hi Stephen, I already have the 4.65.6 installed, do you mean that I have to download and reinstall it even if it is the same release number ? Claude
  11. Bonjour, TB was tripple buffering. You are a lucky man ! My first flight after the P3D installation, was stuttering in turn, in pan, with a lot of shimmering, using a very light aircraft.... As i come from FSXSE, which was for me very fluid, and without stutter, I did not understant why it was so bad even with the cursors at the minimum. Some people here in the forum, helped me to understand the difference between FSX and P3D. Honestly, the understanding of what is behind each parameter helped me to configure P3D. On the official site of P3D there are also a lot of information in the SDK Every system is different, and unfortunately there is not a quick fix for everyone. Cheers Claude
  12. Same problem with the last version. I have No SimConnect exception. Why did they ruined the 6DOF like that ? I think you have told them and they are aware of the problem. Anyway thanks for your quick answer. Claude
  13. Bonjour, In P3D the shortcuts for live camera contral have the same sensitivity than in FSX, but this produce in P3D a very slow motion and the function is useless. I changed the sensitivity from 5 to 25 and now the speed is good but the motion is very jerky and the effect is not pleasant. Is there an explanation for this behavior in P3D. Cheers Claude
  14. Bonjour Steve, All you said makes sens, the switch between thread is logically quicker than between core if the cache is big enough, which is I hope the case for a 4790K Thanks Claude
  15. Bonjour, Thanks you all for your advices. May be I did not try this one, I just did it and it works OK without the problem of instable 30FPS and micro stutters. There are a lot of advices about AM, and it is difficult to have an idea. The only thing I know is that AM is an operating system specific, and when an application create a thread using the createthread api there is no way to specify which logical thread is going to be used. The Operating system do the job. P3D creates about 60 threads which participate to the application. Opus server has about 50. If I understand well all this thread must share 8 logical thread with HT ON, 4 for P3D and 2 for the the addons (core 0) The way those thread are distributed is the operating system 's job and sure setting a good AM help P3D as it doesn't know anything. 116 is good (thanks TheBoom). it certainly minimize the switch between major threads. In future P3D devellopment it can change. It is only my opinion and may be I am wrong. I totally agree with you, and I hesitate a lot to try it. But I want to have a stable 30FPS on my 60hz monitor to avoid microstutter, the internal limiter doesn't provide a smooth experience, and the FPS limiter in NI does nothing. This one works and maintain 30FPS in turn without a problem. It is the only function I use in RadeonPro. My gpu usage is about 70%, so I am not sure I need to change. Cheers Claude
  16. Bonjour, I am new to P3D, and after one month of navigation between AM, TB, vsync, NI , HT, FPS limiter..., it looks today not too bad. But there is definitively, with my config, a problem with HT ON. My config: 4790K OC 4.6Ghz , windows 7 X64, GTX 780, 60 hz monitor. Not too bad with: HT OFF, external limiter (RadeonPro) 30FPS, vsync and TB off, internal FPS limiter illimited and no AM in the cfg file. I choose RadeonPro external limiter as it is the only one which works for me. the others I tried have no effect. Another thing I do not understand as I have a Nvidia card ! Concerning HT, 1 With a test flight and no limiters my config can produce 50FPS in turn, with stutters... 2 Limiting the FPS to 30 (preferred external) - with HT ON in turn the FPS is not stable and can decrease to 28FPS, with stutters. - with HT OFF in turn the FPS is stable (30FPS) and no stutters. So that means that with HT ON something is not logical as my config is able to produce 50FPS. Is it a window problem or a P3D thread synchronisation problem ? Cheers Claude
  17. Thank you jfmitch, but I don't think the samsung you are talking about is a 16/10 format. Is it ? Cheers Claude
  18. Bonjour, Does anybody knows a 16/10 monitor (1920X1200) 30hz capable to run P3D in smooth condition ? Thanks Cheers Claude
  19. Hi Martin, I do not know if the question was posted before, but does Flight School and Flight Simulator will have the option to run DX11 in full screen exclusive mode, which is the only way to have the application able to control the vsync, and avoid microstuttering when FPS below the monitor refresh rate. Cheers Claude
  20. Bonjour Jim, Sure, but that's make me a little uncomfortable to have start this post. I'll think twice about posting the next time. If P3D was stutter free with a 60hz monitor, I think I would never try this new driver. Anyway thanks for warning us. Now I thing the problem related by Rick Almeida, is not a driver issue, but more a problem with the installation, and the way Windows 10 manage it. About the driver which completly destroy the GPU, sure that's a big problem, but I have difficulties to imagine that. I also read that it can destroy the monitor. Nvidia still propose this driver on their site. I hope that if this was so terrible, they would have taken it out. Cheers Claude
  21. Hi Steve, For sure I need to know and I would like to ! What I understand is there is about 40 threads to run, and they must share 4 6 8 cores. With such a number of thread it means for me that FSX/P3D was designed with multithread in mind. What I know about intel implementation of multithread, (Hyperthreading) is that it creates 2 logical processors on one core, and they must share the cache and the bus. The cache default with HT on can affect the performance, but I do not know how much data is saved when FSX threads must be switched ! It can explain the debat AM or not AM that is the question ! To understand how FSX/P3D works, I think I need to know what are all those 40 threads for, and how they synchronize.... If you have information I 'll take it with pleasure. Example of things difficult for me to understand. Take off from Orly during the roll 50FPS.... a litle flying over the Eiffel Tower, and come back to the same position. Now the FPS is 40... Nothing has changed except the fuel... same weather. So it cost 10FPS. Why ? Cheers Claude
  22. Bonjour, My config :4790K AM = 85... I decided just to see the impact of the AM to use only one core for P3D... AM = 1 Yes first core at 100% CPU,about a loss in FPS of 10% and a little more stutters... I expected a disaster... But No. All those things seems to me very strange. Cheers Claude
  23. Hi Rick, As I am the guy who started the thread (not a good idea), I am especially glad that everything is OK now. So it was more a (bad) experience for you than a (good) experience for me ! Yesterday I switched 3 times between 364.12 and 361.43 on two different PC without a problem, but I am using Windows 7. Regards Claude
