  1. So I tried just about everything with no luck. Sorry again for the long reply back but I had another business trip plus the holidays. But anyways after another crash I decided to compare with the f1 GTN. It came in a bundle and I picked up the 750 and 650 and put it in my Lear. So far no crashes. I did notice that the screen for the f1 product is a lot smoother when moving between pages and scrolling. My RXP GTN wasn’t lagging but it wasn’t that smooth either. At any rate for some reason my computer just could not run the RXP product. It all points to a memory issue but my 2070 has 8gb of RAM and I have 32gb of hard RAM in my computer. While running P3Dv4.5. I thought I would never see another memory crash after switching to P3D lol.
  2. I’m sorry to bug you but idk what I’m doing here. I see the debug settings In the user manual but I don’t get what you want me to do here....
  3. Well like I said I run the latest Nvidia driver for my RTX card. When I first got the Garmin system a few months back I was using a totally different driver. Could this be a driver issue? I can revert back to a driver I was using before to see if it helps but I also know it’s not recommended with P3D to use old drivers.... if you personally have a Nvidia card, which driver are you currently using? I can try my best to match it and see if I still get freezes and crashes.
  4. Ok I’ll see what I can do. So I guess this means you can’t see anything abnormal?
  5. I’m not sure I don’t know exactly what a process tool is. To my knowledge no. I have my firewall disabled on my computer as well. And by debug setting you mean where you explain how to properly set the Nvidia driver thing? I forgot exactly what it said but I tried my best to follow it. It wasn’t exactly how it was not my computer because of windows 10 layout...
  6. Welcome! I uninstalled my Nvidia drivers yesterday and did a fresh install. Afterwards I uninstalled the Garmin Trainer and installed fresh. I did a test flight in the Lear from KIDA-KTNP. First half of the trip was smooth. About halfway to my destination I got the memory pop up. I clicked “ok” to terminate the program and the Garmin actually runs for another 10 seconds before it freezes P3Dv4.5. Then I have to ax everything via “task manager”.
  7. It is also worth noting that my GPU is not overclocked at all. But it does have the most current build.
  8. this is the memory error I am getting. it is a pop up GTN Simulator.exe - Application Error The instruction at 0x000000005CE8844E referenced memory at 0x0000000000000004 the memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the program
  9. Sorry for such a late reply I was actually on a business trip. as stated before I have this installed into my FSW Lear 35A. it is worth noting that Mark with FSW has it set up that the aircraft automatically places any panel into the Learjet automatically. though everything seems to be working on that end of the spectrum. also before each crash now I am getting a memory error pop up which is weird because my computer has 32 gigs of RAM installed. I also run the latest Nvidia drivers for my RTX 2070. not really sure what's going on, as time passes the crashes are getting more frequent! 10. Hello, I have had my GTN unit built into my FSW Lear35 for a few months now (which I love btw), but lately I have been getting these freezes. I have a crash app that records all freezes and crashes on my computer and lately it has been pointing the fingers at the GTN program. All of the crashes are .dll’s within the GTN, one of the common ones being KRNLSIM.dll. Any ideas on how to fix these crashes? They’re happening more frequently than when I first got the system.
  11. Hello all. I am experiencing squared off cloud formations specifically “overcast” whenever I am at cruise. The clouds will populate in square patches which look highly unrealistic. I will note that I am using ASP4+SF+EF. I suspect it is ASP4 because that is my weather engine. Has anyone else experienced this?
  12. Hi guys thanks for all the advice, I got busy so I’m just now seeing all of these messages. What I take from the feedback is that it all boils down to user preference. Theres really no “best ATC program”, because they’re all good in their own ways. Now, why a dev won’t take the best of all five and make a super ATC program idk maybe technology isn’t that advanced yet 😂 but with all of this in mind I decided to go back to ProATC/X. I used it briefly as stated before but hated the step down phase of flight but I’ve decided to give it another go. The program has been updated since I last used it so I’m hoping it’ll be a better experience. Also, I am really curious to see if Microsoft has revamped the default ATC For their new sim. In the near future, ATC add-ons May be a thing of the past! Besides Microsoft already lays claim to the most human like voice recordings. So we will see.
  13. Well honestly I really need someone who already has the program installed with P3D to tell me the exact steps it takes. Because on a few threads I’ve read there are some dips and dives you gotta do to make it work but I need to know exactly what those are and exactly how to do them.
  14. I really did try to get it to work but to no avail. That’s the program I really want to use but it doesn’t agree with my sim for whatever reason. I did try to get support from the RC forum but there really wasn’t much “support” other than the people who have RC4 installed into their P3D bragging about how they got theirs to work 😂. But I want RC because not only do they have IFR but also VFR which I live because you don’t have to file a flight plan to use the program. From what I understand about it.
  15. Is anyone currently using PF3 with P3Dv4? I’m growing tired of the default ATC and want something realistic. I tried ProATCX a while ago but i Found the decent phase/landing phase to be completely unrealistic. That program is fine for departure and climb but the way it maneuvered my aircraft around airports coming into land sucked. One time it had me turn on a three mile short final I was literally over the airport whenever it happened I was like what the heck. So that program definitely needs to be tweaked. It’s a work in progress I should say. But I recently heard about PF3 and was curious because I don’t hear a lot about the program but on forums people compare it to RC4. Which most argue that was the best offline ATC program to date. I could never get it to work with P3Dv4 though. Anyways if anyone uses PF3 let me know in the comments what you think about it. I’m considering a purchase but need feedback first.
  16. Hello all. I just bought my GTN 750 yesterday and have been really happy with it so far. I use it with my FSW Lear 35 and it really brings the aircraft to life. But I wanted to add the 650 to my aircraft because the discount is hard to pass up... the only thing is, I’m not really sure what the 650 is used for. Honestly it looks like just a tiny version of the 750 but if they both do the same functions why would anyone want the small thing? I’m speaking in terms of really life btw. Why would a pilot purchase a 650 when all he needs is a 750?
  17. I was wondering how hard it would be to incorporate TCAS on the stock GNS that comes with the Lear. Since the Lear is not yet compatible with the RealityXP GNS 530, it would be nice to have this feature because currently when I fly I have no idea where other airplanes are lol.
  18. So I did this and still got the warning light go off. I did have the cabin air switch on too! The only way I don’t get the light is if I only set the destination altitude on the dial before I depart. That’s the only way it works for me.
  19. Is there anyone that OFFICALLY knows how real world Lear pilots work the cabin altitude management system? I’ve heard that you just set it to your landing airport altitude and forget about it, I’ve heard you set it to your cruise altitude and increase/decrease in increments as you go, etc. so what is the right way to do it? Had a cabin pressure light go off a couple of flights ago so just want to make sure im doing it the right way.
  20. I ran into an issue this morning taking off out of L35 airport. On the ground doing my preflight ops, I noticed that the cabin altitude dial would not go past 4,000ft. It stopped right at that number and wouldn’t budge. So I shrugged my shoulders and continued on. Well after I took off I was climbing past FL180 and my cabin altitude caution light came on. Puzzled, I stopped the flight and loaded a fresh flight. When I did I was able to move the dial past 4K. But whenever I saved that same flight and opened it back up, it stopped at 4K again. It seems as though if you save a flight in P3D with the Lear and open it back up, you will have cabin altitude issues. Can anyone else confirm this scenario?
  21. Sure does. Go to YouTube and look up accu-feel and there are a few videos on how the product works and interacts with your aircraft.
  22. Honestly I use Accu-Feel for the unique squeaks and rattles and it works like a dream with the Lear. You can make her sound pristine or like a bag of bolts whichever you prefer. It has a lot of movement features too which just adds to the immersion. Go check it out you might like it!
  23. That’s really cool you added that sound I love little things like that! I was just confused if it were a warning sound or not lol. But I’m very happy with the Lear so far. I can honestly say there isn’t anything at this time that I’d want added. Well, I really hope one day y’all will make it compatible with the RealityXP GNS 530, but otherwise I’m a happy customer.
  24. I also noticed it takes a loooong time for the Lear to get off the ground lol the first time I took off after the update, I had to double check to make sure I hadn’t lost an engine. But if it’s all accurate or close to I’m all for it!
  25. Really??? How annoying! But cool that it’s simulated! Hahaha
