Hi Steve, Thank you for taking the time to help me troubleshoot i really appreciate it. It appears i have found a solution. When flight starts to load before it disappears i hit alt + tab and all works.

Tries this with FSX\API.dll as the faulting module. I tried uninstalling the libraries and switching back to DX9 and all works but now when i go back to DX10 the sim crashes with no log off the error. Just some more Troubleshooting. I uninstalled the fixer and tried running FSX with DX10 preview and the sim still crashes the same.Runs fine with DX9

Hi all, i have been looking around the internet for a solution. Could someone kindly point me to a troubleshooting guide for the DX10 fixer as every time i run FSX Steam with DX10 activated it CTD after i select a free flight. Sometimes it just disappears and sometimes i get an FSX has stopped working message. Looking at the event log it points to different Dlll files as the reason for failing. Thanks Scott Everingham
